     The words make Mark freeze. It started as bickering, slowly building up to a whispered argument the longer that it went on. Packing away Chloe’s toys which had been strewn across the sitting room, Mark stood in place with a soft doll of his daughter’s in his hand still.

          “I’m not bloody stealing ‘em.”

     Even as he spoke, he tugged at the covers, pulling them higher up around his chin. He was freezing, feeling himself shaking with cold. This wasn’t right was it? The heater hadn’t died, had it?

     Stopping himself from moving under the covers, he could still just hear the quiet hum which told him otherwise. Still working.

          “Just cold, is all. Bloody cold.”

the biggest one has got to be people who don’t read rules/guidelines. it gets increasingly infuriating when you know instantly that people haven’t read them. it isn’t as bad on this blog, but on my multi it gets bad often with non-mutuals asking to roleplay or liking starter calls. there’s only so many times i can be nice about it with them
