I can't take ALL the credit, though! My good friend Smog helped me come up with the base lineart design. I had never made a Yautja OC before and hadn't even drawn one, so I wasn't confident in my own design sense at the time. So I let her know generally what I was going for, something feminine but powerful, regal, a female warrior that was equal parts beautiful and intimidating, and to take some inspiration from cobra snakes.

This was what Smog came up with and I immediately fell in love! Then I took over and played with her colorations and markings until Wraith became what she is today!

On one of Wraith’s first undercover missions, her cover is blown, and she has to run like hell before everything goes sideways.

In Wraith’s clan, tattoos and scarification are used to denote achievements and rank. The rune on her shoulder is her family sign, or “crest.” This doubles as her mark of rank, because her clan functions with a type of cast system, and she’s a part of the “royal” family. They are descended from High-Bloods, but long ago her family broke away from most of Yautja Prime due to political reasons. (Think the Jabari tribe from Black Panther).

The runes on her crest symbolize her achievements within her clan’s society, as a Huntress, Enforcer, Leader, etc. Great feats of courage and sacrifice are admired and celebrated, and she has earned a great deal of respect within the clan.

[80s/Undercover AU]

Wraith is sent by the gangboss she’s been working under to El Cerebos Rojo, an underground night club, where an important man is waiting to meet her, and will bring her one step closer to the target of her undercover mission.

Skysealer on Twitter was taking Red Cross charity commissions, with the stipulation that they had to be dragon-themed. So I asked for Wraith as a dragon!
