Read this when you have a bad race
You're not a failure! You are an amazingly talented person. Don't let one race make you upset. This isn't the race that matters most! Qualifiers are!! Then the championships meets after that!! Use this to motivate you in the rest of the season. Be thankful for it!! Without bad races, what would even be the point of running? If we always had perfect races, there would be no mental challenges, no reason to push ourselves past our limits. I sent this to my boyfriend after his meet today. He was super upset and on the verge of tears. I couldn't be there immediately for him but I wanted to do something. I edited this a little so it would make more sense to everyone everywhere.
