At the time I spent most of my time outside of the office in flip-flops which seemed innocuous at the time. As I was training and noticed that my toes were curling up it soon became evident that I needed to make a change. So I had to give up what at the time were my symbol of freedom from that corporate life and keep my tootsies in a shoe prison. Then entered my life what would later become famous in the book #born2run Shoes based on the design of the #Tarahumara sandals. I’ve logged hundreds of miles walking and running in these and believe they are the secret to not only running, but healthy feet and life.
