The biggest reason I love and appreciate running is that you don’t slow down on pace, but you slow down in mind. And only when you slow down in mind, you get to think and reflect, you empathize, you grow, and you change for the better. Here is my runner’s thought of the day.. “Courage put your ideas into actions, but only with Empathy to lead the right direction and Self-reflection to learn and grow, you ideas can change the world for the better.” Without Empathy and Self-reflection, your ideas become deeds which you consider good to the world, and when people tell you they are not, you get offended, aggressive and negative to a point that your ideas only keep you running in the wheel while you think you are moving forward and making a difference, but you are only at the same point, doing the things that are only good for yourself. The world is changing for the better while you are existing in a wheel. So Yes! Be courageous, but also show empathy and be self-reflective, then we - the world - will change for the better ❤️ #runnersthoughts #running #runner #morningthoughts #morningrun #alongtheriver #riverside #iloverunning #goodmood #weekendrun #runforthemind (at Taipei, Taiwan)
