After rereading the recent chapter of wolves I got to thinking:
Do you feel that a scene like in this drawing may be a possibility in the future of Wolves?
*shrugs*
We'll see.

runtmonkey replied to your post “Momentarily considers commissions or favors to help pay vehicle damage”
You should do some commissions! Your art rocks. Did you get hit from this snow crap?
Hah I'll consider it. And yeah I got t-boned. I have to fix the front of my car since its currently undriveable. I would just like to soften the $400 blow to my pockets. I'm very broke right now LOL

I would, but my mind is already in the gutter.
Okay, I want to know how your mind went in the gutter on this.

hmmm to give it to krista/christa? ‘Cause she’s smooth like that.
You win again! ...Damn, my secret's out. Guess I can do another preview in the next few days when I don't feel like death and exhaustion.
runtmonkey replied to your post “okay I'm weak”
I'm going to guess Ymir. *crosses fingers*
You win! Your prize is now to guess why she said it in the first place.

Knitting can be difficult. Your stitches are really even! It’s looking rad.
It's taken me a while to come around to it, but I'm remembering how satisfying it is to make something physical with your hands that is not filling up a notebook. (That and I have designs on a big red scarf for myself after my mom's is done. I'm not influenced by SNK at all.)
Thank you! I seem to have figured out the exact method to making my stitches as even as they possibly can while keeping the ends good and tight.
What inspires you to write?
Everything, really. I take inspiration from pictures and drawings and paintings, good songs and the swaying beats inside them, the sharp noises leaves make in autumn under shuffling footsteps, the purr of my cat when she's snuggled up to my chest under the blankets, the unreasonable beauty of making a long arcing turn onto the highway as the sun is cresting the mountains in the east while a heartwrenching song starts to play from my ipod, the desperation to get out of a bad mood, the strong intent to stay in a good mood, the desire to relax after a long day before bed, the warmth of being buried under blankets on my couch on the weekend, good books, good movies, words and the concepts behind them--
The thing is, I've cultivated an attitude that allows inspiration to come to me from very small things, and this is why you see me produce so much. Relying on big, earth-shaking things like "perfect" works of art to inspire you peters out really quickly. Wolves of the North? That was inspired by someone hoping made a werewolf AU along with a WIP picture. Chigai? Literally inspired by the Japanese word "chigai." Frontierstuck was based off another WIP.
If you let your mind wend and roam freely in the concepts that could be hiding behind something small or incomplete or simple, you get a lot more out of your brain than if you stubbornly waited for the "right" thing to come along.
To actual-goddess and runtmonkey:
I will answer your questions about writing more in detail tomorrow. I just can't stay awake enough to give good answers.
