Dryya walks casually on the soft grass of the Far Fields. The smell she had caught was a bit aged, but if she could track it then she'd have a lead. Now, of course her predicament was awful. No weapon, no armor, not even clothes. But, she comes from the mantises. She's more insecure about her scars than anything else.
She travels up through a high cavern, light peeking through a hole at the top. Dryya takes the opportunity to slay and eat a black creature with leaves on its head.
After eating, she feels better. She was so close now to finishing the damn mission. She had a deal with the Void inside of her, she'd get to try convincing Orchid to return! If she doesn't want to, then Dryya can go home with a cleared conscience. But it came with a caveat. The Void would get to handle Cinder.
Dryya tells herself that she'll be fine.
She finally enters a room smelling heavily of the runaway vessel, and sure enough, there she were, back turned on the visitor.
"Hi Cinder? Where's Orchid?" Dryya asks before the Void laid claim to her voice.
-Cinder whirled around, one hand instinctively twitching to her blade, which was currently holstered on her right side. her posture did not relax when she fully caught sight of Dryya.-
"..What happened to you.? And why are you here."
-Her voice was tentative,, almost soft, even. But her stance gave away her uneasiness. Perhaps intentionally.-
-Dryya could see her shove a wrinkled piece of paper into a pocket in her cloak.-
-..Something was definitely wrong with Dryya's showing up here, and now. and along with that, something about Dryya herself felt wrong; not just the fact that she didn't have her armor or weapon. However.. she couldn't place her finger on what exactly was off. She would simply keep her guard up.-
