"Thank you for bringing me here, Jughead." The girl told him.
"Well, yes, this is a very important place to me, you know..." Jughead said.
"First of all, I would like to say that I loved your Baxter Brother's chapters, it's unlike anything I've seen before. I swear you will be a famous writer one day."
"Well, only time will decide." He said when a blond man entered the shop. He was wearing a black tie and a suit but it was way more different then our uniforms. He was really handsome and kind of looked like Jughead. Cousins... maybe?
"Y/n? Y/n! What, you uh... like my brother?" He said with a cocky smirk.
"Stop smirking or I'll slap it off your face!" I lunged forward and he started laughing.
The blond man walked towards us when she asked herself Did he say brother? That's why they represented eachother. Then he sat down at their table.
"Hey, Jug." He greeted.
"Hey, Charles. Charles, this is y/n, y/n, this is Charles." Wow, even the name was as handsome as him. The two shook hands and Jughead went to get himself a refill.
"Hey, Jug, get me one too." She asked.
"On it."
"So, how old are you, y/n?" He asked, making a small talk.
"I'm 18. How about you?" She questioned.
"I'm 23. I heard you go to Stonewall Prep with Jughead. How is it like there?"
"Well, beside teachers throwing themselves out the windows, it's pretty nice. We have great meals and get to decorate our dorms however we like. So, what do you do for a living?"
"I am a secretary."
"You know, Jughead never really told me about having a brother. How come?"
"Well, he just found out. You know Betty, right?"
"You mean the blonde girl that hit my cousin in the head? I absolutely love her!" She said, laughing and he joined her too.
"Well, yes. Her mother and Jughead's father had me."
"So Betty and Jughead are step-siblings?"
"Yeah, I know it's mixed up." He said when Jughead came back with the drink.
"Here you go miss." He said grinning.
"For you, sir, and one for moi."
They sat chatting for a little longer about cults, school, college when it got dark. When Jughead went to pay Charles turned to y/n.
"Uh... can I have your number?" He asked scratching his neck.
"Oh, sure. Here!" She said handing a card with her info on it.
"You are Francis Dupont's granddaughter?"
"Yes, I am."
"I didn't know he had a grandchild. How come you aren't the new ghost writer?"
"I personally like Jughead's writing more."
"Hey, y/n, ready to go?" Asked Jughead.
"Yeah, sure. Bye, Charles!"
"Bye" He said inserting her number in his phone.
