Produced for the relaunch of Vitsoe's website for their 50th anniversary, this film highlights the longevity both of the company and their sole product. I headed a team of five 3D artists, working under the direction of Malika Favre at Airside.
I did the 3D and compositing on this job, co-directed by Dick Hogg at Airside and Juan Cabral for Fallon. It was one of those rare jobs where there was some time allowed for experimentation and also planning and I think it shows. I came up with a sequencer of sorts within Maya, that would allow me to try an animation on the bulbs and store it. I had 3 shelves, one with various working scripts, one to store sequences and one to set different colourways on the ball. It was like some sort of vapourised toy.
