Cody's leg armour is riddled with spiderwebbed cracks, akin to those on Fox’s own chestplate, spiralling their way up towards the melted plastoid.
A little bit of my wip for the upcoming Cody Fox August. I'm tinkering with lines whilst I figure out how to get them back out of the situation I've put the poor chaps in 😂

Summary:
Death stalks the battlefield.
Jesse sees the moment of horrific realisation on his medic's face as the B2 rattles some line about Jesse dying a fiery death as it charges up to fire. Jesse squeezes off a final shot, sending the medic an apologetic look as death comes to greet him.

I'm cheating with two sentences, but it made for a nice paragraph ;)
"I'm going to have to fight them," Kix explains to the pair of them, both children still clinging to his armour. "They'll just keep following us otherwise. And I," he pauses, looking at the blade still clutched in the older child's fingers, "I don't want you to have to fight them too."

I initially thought 'I don't have any OCs' and then realised I have lots of little troopers knocking around in my fics. A lot of the time, they're to help provide an external pov to another canon character - so I haven't really developed their backstory or anything like that.
As I haven't really developed an OC in any depth, I hope you don't mind me twisting the prompt to Five Random OCs of Mine 😂
Epi (short for Epicentre): Clone Ordnance Specialist. Lost their entire squad during the Blue Shadow Virus arc. They were transferred (read: adopted) by Rex into the 501st much to Kix's amusement.
2. Motion: Coruscant Guard. New to the Guard from the Kamino contingent. She is delighted and confused watching Commander Fox gruffly wrangle Tooka-shaped 501st troopers.
3. Drift: Scuba. An old hand at underwater manoeuvres. Enjoys winding up Commander Monnk whenever he gets an opportunity. Likes to tease his Commander about his contribution to Commander Neyo's Almanac of Clankers. Monnk thinks he has a shit bedside manner - luckily for Monnk, Drift isn't a medic.
4. Merak: 212th Infantry. New to the 212th and due to his scores on Kamino, assigned to Ghost Company. He's very excited to be a part of the legendary battalion, and getting used to seeing his Lieutenant in leg warmers and dancing to music is surprisingly easier than he thought.
5. Flare: 501st Technical Officer. Had a rough time on Umbara, was witness to far more than anyone realised, and took care of Rex in the aftermath of Krell's "discipline". The man saved the evidence, going above and beyond.
He also appears in the wreckage of the Tribunal on the hunt for a missing Jesse. Poor sod trips over Jesse's helmet and ultimately the evidence of Maul kidnapping the Lieutenant. (I had not realised how often Flare is involved with evidence until now 😂)
Bonus!
Now, Arik is a canon-named clone but we know nothing about them aside from the name drop in Kix’s thoughts during his time with the Crimson Corshair. I don't know whether my writing of him counts as an OC (probably), but I loved the idea of Kix having a medic batchmate in the Coruscant Guard. So that's where I write him in whichever fics he appears in.
Once they give him a bit more than a name - I'll be right there!
I really enjoy fleshing out characters with very little in canon, and in TCW that seems to be the majority of the clones! Kosmos and Hawk are a couple of clones I very much enjoyed writing.
I have so many more clones drifting around, and I keep a document of all of their names and where they are - in an attempt to keep some consistency between stories. Even if they aren't linked.
