CONGRATS ON REACHING 1K !!!!!!! i really like your writing, in particular that anatomy lesson one, it hits home since now i’m a lab assistant yay

so i’m in my third year of med school (in my country we can get in straight out of high school, no need for a undergrad degree) and i want to be a GI surgeon

i actually live in a off campus apartment with my sister, and i absolutely need in my room my laptop, my ac on and all my three fluffy pillows

my struggle meal is frozen meals i cook on the weekends so i don’t need to waste time cooking on week days (it took a lot of time of going to sleep hungry to get my week this organized lol)

i don’t know if you have that at your college but every course on campus create a drink of choice and usually at parties we mix up a big fucking gallon and everybody drinks it (we usually make freshmans mix it up and serve us lol) so it’s vodka and powdered strawberry and lemon juice (i know it’s disgusting but is for the sake of companionship between peers)

i’d like to get a frat bro from either aot or jjk !!!

its not common for people to enjoy the communal vodka punch.

but to see a boy with hair of that color guzzle it down with enthusiasm on top of style was a first for you all.

he emerges from his battle with the liquor victorious, his frat brothers all slapping him on the back for a job well done, and with the alc in his system, yuujis buzzing around the part to meet everyone, bounding over to you with enthusiasm and speaking a mile a minute.

youre honestly surprised when you see him the next day, on campus to buy the same frozen meal, and hes chatting with you as animatedly as he did in the party. hes so impressed with how youre on the med track, saying you should study together so some of your brains rub off on him, and you cant help but smiling as you think about the sunshine he will bring on those dreary library days.

you're here on the invite of sero, someone you met in French 101, and its going smoothly enough till a blonde boy runs straight into you speaking straight gibberish. he's blabbering, and no one can understand him, but he keeps looking at you while nodding, the words "language person" coming out once in a while in the stream of nonsense, he's relying on you to be his translator.

his friends hoist him away later on, and denki is still blabbering, and you walk away from the night confused, but entertained. it all clears up for you later on, you get a text message from him later on that says "hey its denki! hopefully this is in English, can I get you a sandwich to make up for last night!"

you meet frat bro jean while waiting for drinks in the basement, the tall tree of a man coming over behind you to reach over the counter to grab a the bottle of water that you had been waiting for. he introduces himself as jean, he's the resident helper of the frat, ironically enough the one tasked with getting things off the shelves even though the house is full of six footers. so he volunteers to be yours for the night as well, helping guiding you through the crowds to get to the dancefloor or beer pong games, and at the end of the night, he's giving you a piggyback ride home.

the library should be quiet at this time of night, but the chorus of boys running around the stairs in their underwear makes it anything but a conducive study environment. at least the short man with the inky hair seems to agree, shaking his head at the idiots in front of him. you manage to start a conversation with him based on your mutual annoyances, turns out he's also gunning for medical school too and was in search of a quiet place to finish studying for the night.

it surprises you then, when a large shaggy haired man runs through the floor you two are on and picks levi up by surprise, saying "your friendship with erwin isn't going to get you out of tradition next week, levi boy."

levi looks peeved tossed up over his shoulder, but he looks at you apologetically saying "not all of us are like this, I promise."

he gets hit on the head by yall of his friends for that one, but he defends his take by saying, its a valid question! but apologizes nonetheless for his actions.

the next time you run into him is when you end up face first into on the fateful day you decide to take your skateboard out for a spin, and he's catching you before you face plant. he agrees to teach you to skate in exchange for a sticker you have to design for him to go on the back of his skateboard. and when you toy with the design, you can't help but adding a little pin up sillouhette to the side of it, a little easter egg you know he'll enjoy as a call back to your first meeting.

you're confused by his question, so he repeats himself, asking if using different colors helps with note-taking. apparently a friend of his is always getting on him for writing only in black or blue, and he wanted to see if it actually makes a difference. so you smile, saying he should try it sometime, it makes it more fun. and he's scoffing when he walks away, but the next time he's at a cafe, you see he's sitting a bit closer, a green pen in hand as he scribbles away in his notebook, giving you a soft smile and sending an iced latte your way in greeting since he heeded your advice.
