Thoughts on Sea Dragon King Granganus?
"It exists".
Am I the only one surprised Konami doesn't do much cross-promotion between the OCG and Rush Duel? Rush Duel will adapt cards from the TCG but I don't think they've ever done the reverse, or release support for both games at the same time (i.e. Harpie support in Rush and OCG at the same time).
They kinda do.
Like we got Monarchs in OCG and RD in 2025.
We got B.E.S. and Gradius to celebrate to Gradius' anniversary. And were functionally as close as they logistically could be.
I really wouldn't be shocked if we see Great Moth/Insect Queen support in the OCG at some point in 2026. Or RD doing BLS, Normal BLS in Master Duel, and maybe Chaos Origins doing BLS/MOBC. Is some sort of cross promotion of some sort.
There was also Amebie.
I think they avoid adapting cards from RD because that basically means RD has no reason to exist.
Any pokemon and vanguard card u can imagine go hard as well as a ygo card
I dunno much about Pokemon card arts but tbh, most Pokemon, Vanguard, and Digimon card arts I've seen and Rush Duel Over-Rush Rare arts go a thousand times harder than anything normal Yu-Gi-Oh! cards do.
How much support do you think Pyro Clock Of Destiny would get if it were imported to Rush Duel?
Probably none.
How consistent would it even be to get out Thousand-Eyes Relinquished in Rush Duel format in the first place? I mean, there’s no longer any way to have both fusion materials in the hand due to Rituals now inhabiting the Extra Deck, so you not only have to summon the original Relinquished but hope your opponent doesn’t have any interruption that could get rid of a LEVEL 1 MONSTER on arrival. Same goes for the moment you summon Thousand-Eyes.
Probably not that hard.
Not as consistent as the TCG/OCG.
But RD isn't a super consistent game for searchability.
Assuming that they find a way around the technical problems facing a Relinquished port, how reasonable do you think its power level would be in Rush Duel?
Relinquished itself is probably. Fine. Unusual but nothing THAT broken with the game's current power levels.
Thousand-Eyes Restrict might be the problem child.
Do you think the Pandora Edition Dark Magician will ever come to Rush Duel?
It's entirely doable.
I think it'd come with arguably a wave more emphasizing how Arkana/Pandora played, though.
