Hello, I have found your blog to be very helpful as I prepare to go through rush! I just had one question about the open house day attire. On the description, you mention cute tennis shoes but there are sandals in the picture. Do you recommend both? Are tennis shoes better since there's a ton of walking? Thanks!

Most of the girls will be wearing sneakers (expect lost of bright and neon colors), but Panhellenic gives you a tote to carry so you will be able to carry multiple shoe options as you need them.  You can also expect LOTS of walking, jumping, and lots of girls crowded into not a lot of space, so it's good to protect those toes from getting squashed. Sandals like the one in the picture will be especially ideal for Bid Day!

I told a rushee today that the 1D boys are gay. She freaked. Then I told her the BTR boys are gay. She freaked again. She is no longer a rushee or directionee.

The posts that say "The difference between Rushees and Rushers" got it backwards 90% of the time. Most of the stuff they say Rushees do, should be what they're saying Rushers do.
