AWH THANKS!!! ♡ those particular courses at my school are famous for being super rigorous tho, plus they involve ap AND ib exams like help i have the emotional maturity of a small child. i cant do this.

the first 13 eps were released normally as 20-something minute episodes
but then the next 12 episodes were split into 24 eps that were half the length of normal ones
and then the last ep was a normal 20-something minute long episode
and then for the dvd they combined those 24 short episodes into 12 long episodes
and so u have 26 episodes

And here's my thing - with so much of the criticism regarding Mikasa, I roll my eyes because god forbid we have a female character who is strong, not sexualized, and has flaws!
But then so much of the criticism for her makes me think, "You just described Levi, I hope you have an issue with him as well."
Because Levi can be just as ruthless, cold, and callous as albeit for different reasons thanMikasa.
