Thalia had been taking a leave of absence from CKT ever since the winter festival. In fact, she kept to herself and preferred to keep it that way. It was an unspoken understanding between her and Ruslan, especially with having to face their demons unexpectedly. With her empathic abilities at an all time high during and after the fact, along with her father’s constant badgering, Thalia immersed herself in whatever distraction she could find. She had Kaia and Kodi, working out, dance, the indoor pool and hot tub...the list goes on and on. For today, she chose to frequent Terrance’s with the intention of mostly to drink away.
The socializing was inevitable, but then again, she was willing to take any sort of distraction as she didn’t want to think about her experience in the New Year. Despite Lethe being faced with heightened security, the fae frankly didn’t give a fuck as she drank away and carelessly listened to whichever patron chose to give her the time of day. Buzzed out of her mind, Thalia covered her mouth as she stifled a laugh as her companion spoke on about himself and how he handled recent events. Obnoxious and overly dramatic, she attempted to sound intrigued or amazed, but in honest truth he was definitely a fool at that very moment. Luckily, a familiar face appeared before her as brown hues travelled over to Ruslan. “...Hey!!” she exclaimed as she expressed a cheeky fake smile. “...You’re here!” Thalia giggled as she pushed a chair out towards the lamia and patted it right next to her for him to sit on. “Buddy over here was telling me how he slayed those spirits like on Ghostbusters. Can you believe it!?” Sarcasm, pure sarcasm and yet, the other did not take a hint to leave her be now that Ruslan was here. Reaching out for her drink, she downed it one go as she was into the idea of just forgetting another shitty night. Ignoring the other, she turned her attention to Rus and tilted her head in confusion. “Mmm...What are you doing here?”
