Russ
Some of you may know that in Norway when you’re finished with high school and before our national day we are something called Russ. Which we are for a couple of weeks before our national day and exams. In the few weeks they last, a lot of things happen. You drink, you party, you go to concerts and you do something that’s somewhere between a dare and a bucket list. When you complete one of thees things you get a “mark” on your russelue. An example of one of these bucket dares is: Linjal (Ruler) Sitt under pulten en hel skoletime. (Sit under the desk a whole lesson.) And the bucket dares go on and on, and they might require to do something dirty. You can do as many or as few as you like. People start planning their Russe tid when they start high school, they plan if they are going to have a buss, car or just walk. If you’re going to have a buss or car you need to plan who you want to be with, and how much money you want to spend. Usually if you have a buss or car, you make or get someone else to make a russelåt. (A song for your russe bus,car)
