I don’t truly understand what happened, but I’ll explain it as best as I can. This is #RusselCrotty’s “Great Comet Over the Acid Hill.” This girl was seated underneath it, observing it for some time. Since I had a photo of the piece already from an earlier visit, I sat nearby, contemplating how snap a better one. As people and other photog started to pass by, this girl suddenly stands up and announces herself as an alien who lives in works of art. The Comet Over the Acid Hill was her current home. She asked everyone in speaking distance for help relocating from this piece to another. I am not making this up. I kinda wanted to play along to see where this scenario went, but I’m a shy guy, so I moved away. Next time I saw her she was “taking residence” at the speaker exhibit. Help me out here.
