Ciara and Russell Wilson: No Sex Until Marriage

Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson may be one of today’s hottest new couples, but there’s one thing they aren’t doing: each other. 

Wilson opened up during a Q&A session on Sunday at The Rock church in San Diego about his new relationship and their decision to abstain while they’re dating. “God spoke to me, and said, ‘I need you to lead her,’” Wilson shared with the crowd. “So I told her right then and there. I asked her, ‘What would you do if we took all that other stuff off the table, and did it Jesus’s way?’” The football star added, "If you can really love somebody without that, then you can really love somebody.” Wilson admitted that while Ciara agreed, it hasn’t been easy. “I need y'all to pray for us,” he joked, calling the “I Bet” singer a “15 out of 10."

Thursday night was the 2015 Kids Choice Sports Awards, hosted by Seattle Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson. It was full of slime, dance music, and lots of sports stars. Basketball star Carmelo Anthony tried to break a world record for the most high fives in 30 seconds, but unfortunately came up 30 high fives short. Our favorite part however was the security guard that stole the show when he danced his ways down the aisle.

Ciara Talks Lap Dances, Her Strict Diet & How North West Is Crushing On Her Son

Multi-platinum singer Ciara might have taken six years off from touring, but she is coming back this summer with a vengeance. “It’s all about timing, and everything is falling into place right now,” the new mom says in this episode of “I Yahoo’d Myself.” She had about nine months after giving birth to prepare for her new “Jackie” tour, which is making a stop in Maryland on May 9 and will be livestreamed on Yahoo Live at 9pm)—not much time to drop the nearly 60 pounds she gained during her pregnancy. 

While pregnant, “I was like, ‘I’ve got my baby in my stomach, he needs to eat good, so we’re going to eat all of this Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, Houston’s, Red Lobster…’ I went in,” Ciara reveals to our own Nick Axelrod. 

But after she had her son, Future, the r&b star got down to business. She says she “was like a robot” while following the extreme diet and exercise routine she credits with getting her in bikini (underwear) shape for a couple of sexy Calvin Klein Instagram pics she took just four months after having her son. 

But the hard work has paid off. In fact, Ciara, who recently stepped out with her new beau, Seahawks star Russell Wilson to dinner at the White House, is in such incredible shape that she had no qualms incorporating a very…acrobatic lap dance sequence for one lucky fan on every stop of her tour. “I practiced it on one of my girl [backup] dancers; they’re my test dummies,” she says.
