You had been dating "the weird kid" for about 4 months. Russel Hayes, or Russ as you called him. He had been known for his stupid skating helmet and riding his board down the halls with his friends. You had met because his friend had knocked you over, which you soon learned was on purpose to get Russel to help you. But honestly you didn't mind being knocked over because it led you to finally speaking to your total dorky lover.
Your dates were somewhat awkward at first but gradually became normal,just hanging out was considered romance at this point. Hitting up a convenience store at like 11 at night because your bored? A date with Russel.
That had led you today's totally rad date,skateboarding. You weren't a pro or anything but you could skate. By that I mean,you had balance on a board you just couldn't do any tricks like not even an Ollie but it was still quality time with Russel. So there you sat,slushy in hand that you and Russ had bought on your way to the park when you turned to look at a kid doing a kick-ass trick that was until your focus was interrupted by your boyfriend tripping off of his board.
He had been too caught up staring at your face to notice where he was going and slipped off his board. "Omg are you okay Russ?" He just let a giddy grin frames his face before lifting it off the ground to look at you. "I'm fine angel" He had always wanted to use that nickname on someone and it just fit you perfectly,sitting there with the light glowing around you and framing your beautiful face as he stared from the ground. "You sure you're fine? You're still on the floor baby." He loved hearing that from you and you loved saying it .
You pulled him up by his arm as he continued to admire you. "You are covered in dirt and dust now." A soft laugh elicited from you just from.the way he looked. Brushing your hand through his hair,standing up. You wrapped your arms around his shoulder, laying a kiss on his lips,him feeling like he was in heaven on earth. "Wanna go back home and watch a movie?" He smiled widely kissing your cheek, "it be power rangers!" "Duhhh that's the best movie."
You both walked hand in hand giggling to eachother as you left the skate park.
