Collection privée Il s 'agit encore dans ce tableau, une fois de plus,  du modèle préféré de Konstantin Somov, Boris Mikhailovich Snejkovsky, âgé sur cette toile  de 28 ans et que Somov a peint pendant toute sa vie  ! Boris Mikhailovich Snejkovsky naquit né le 23 juillet 1910 à Odessa. Son père était capitaine de navire dans la flotte russe de volontaires. Au moment de la Révolution, Boris, âgé de sept ans, et sa mère ont parcouru tout le pays - d'Odessa à Vladivostok - pour rejoindre le père et son navire. La famille a quitté la Russie en mai 1919 et est arrivée à Ellis Island, porte- Est des Etats Unis un mois plus tard. Visiblement elle n'entrera pas aux Etats Unis puisqu'on la retrouve ensuite à Istanbul en 1920 puis, deux ans plus tard, à Gołdap en Prusse orientale (maintenant Pologne); sa...
