The upcoming Rustberg Market has been a team effort between our coordinators; both the guild master of Blackbird Brewery, along with the guild master of The Cast Co, who’s members just as our own have been a huge boon and will be featured at the market! For an insider look, here is a small interview conducted with our two coordinators.
What are you excited for with the market?
Dyllie answers, "Well the market of course and meeting new people or old people, well not there age, cause you never ask that but like faces you have already seen. I love markets you meet so many people, and you get to find out what people like based off what they are buying, so if you ever see them in the street you would be like thats so and so and they like pineapples and you bring them a can of pineapples!"
What are you bringing to the table with this particular reoccurring market?
Vynix responds, smiling. "The goal is to return to our roots, so to speak, and bring that idyllic farm fresh attitude to it. We will always feature seasonal goods and services that coincide with the time of year. Lots of small businesses who work hard, not for fame or attention, but to make a living. We really want those to shine, and we think they shall!"
How did you two meet?
Dyllie answers, "How did I meet Vyn here? Like I said before its all about the markets, a tight knit society is there, you go and meet loads of folks and you go to the next market and the next and you just get to know all the different faces over time, and that's how I got to know Vyn a lot better, and they also are a really good musician. They got me to boogie!"
Anything we should know, coming out for the first time?
Vynix chuckles warmly. "The island is neutral ground, so please come and shop with that in mind. We welcome everyone out to browse, eat, drink and have a lovely time. Oh, and if you happen to be passing through our forests...please don't disturb the spiders. They are under our protection. Their silk is harvested in exchange for their safety. So stick to the roads! We look forward to seeing you very soon!"
