Tim stumbles into Red Hood's regular patrol area, not knowing where he was other than being in Crime alley. He limps as he tries to activate his comms

"B-B report....B...Batman where are you...B I know I messed up but can you let me know if everyone is okay?"

Nothing, not even a hum of other people on the line. Okay so they cut this comm line again, it's okay this happens

Jason had been running his normal patrols, checking in on the people in the alley. He hadn’t expected to stumble upon a Bat in his territory, had actually expected just about the opposite to be the case.

But here he was, following behind a clearly injured Robin. He’s not sure how he can tell, but something feels… off about him.

He doesn’t draw his weapons, instead calling out through the modulated helmet.

“B’s not here. What’re you doin’ in the Alley? Without a heads up?”

Since Sunyoung had been expelled violently from the League they were lost. That one failed mission enough to sever them from everything they knew and throw them in a shallow grave, but sunyoung was getting no medals for their perseverance. Gotham was the place that seemed safe enough. If they made no waves theyd be off the radar.

It was like that for a bit. Until they found a downed bird.

Quietly, they squint at the hobbling form, they could just barely make out the colours of a Robin, the symbol on his chest... “What are you doing here?” Their voice is rough, not used to speaking more than ‘thank you’ and ‘goodnight.’ There was a quick consideration that this is a trap. Pulling their concealed carry, they move just a bit closer. “What do you want?”

"You gotta be shitting me." He scoffs. "Patrols wait for nobody, and even if be decided to have some idyllic family outing, he wouldn't invite me."

He offers his hand to try and help him stand. It was definately abit odd to see another kid dressed as robin. something seemed abit off...

"you sure you didnt hit your head?"

Jason gave Tim a thumbs up as he grabs his phone and Motorcycle helmet -not the red hood one, just a regular black one- and opens the door for him.

Not really talking as he guided his interdimensional guest to the garage, once they were at his bike, he moved to put the helmet on tim, adjusting the strap under the chin "Its not gunna fall of you?" He asks

Tim was confused. He had been patrolling like normal. Yes he was benched but the city needed him, Bruce needed him.

When he was fighting a magic user that they’d been having more and more run ins with he slipped up. A blast was shot his way.

He slammed into the wall and blacked out before he crashed to the ground. When he woke up his head was pounding, he was sure he had a broken rib too

He heard the impact for sure, body on brick pretty recognizable. There's an internal debate for a half second if he should go investigate, before he ultimately rounded the corner to see Robin in a crumpled heap next to a dumpster.

His replacement.

Oh joys.

Making it closer, trying to get a handle of just what happened, and finding no broken glass or other assailants there, he cocks his head to one side. “Hey kid.” Gruff voice modulated just abit lower. “You good?” Red Hood stood over him, gently poking his form with his foot. “... what happened?” he sighs out.

Logically he knows it wasnt the kids fault that he came after his death to keep up the schtick that B had going on, but that resentment still stung. Always the replaceable one. Even with the complex feelings churning in his head, he wasnt gunna act passive and not help.
