Met a lovely friend today on my morning adventure and I got some nice shot of them (by my standards) so I thought I'd share! I'm not quite sure what species of spider it is (I'm thinking grass spider maybe?)

Surprise! It’s a wolf. You can tell by the eyes, especially in the first photo:
Wolf spiders have a row of four tiny eyes on the bottom nearest their mouth, then two bigger eyes above those, and then finally two more on the top of their head. Grass spiders have two rows of four eyes each. Anyhoo this one is prooooobably a rustic wolf and I love him!
