Stephen King's Under the Dome: Rusty Everett and the leatherheads. It is so #$%& hard to draw those leatherheads! This is the best I could do in my first attempt (well, it took more than one attempt to get this). And I think that Rusty is the one most like me in age/body type, and perhaps a little in personality. Of course, that is now and not when the novel was first published. Back then I was closer to Barbie's age, although I never had a soldier's body.
So I start watching Under The Dome. I'm a massive fan of the book so I can't tell you HOW SCARED I was before watching it.
They changes a lot of thing.
A lot.
A LOT.
So basically, I was uselessly angry at almost everything. Rusty is out of the fucking dome, that was the FIRST person I wanted to see. And apparently, it's okay to cut a cow in half but don't you dare talking about necrophilia. Let's cover that with kidnapping ans shit ! (am I getting too sensitive?)
However, there were pretty good modifications : The interaccial gay couple, the "100% rock" radio, and some other things.
Conclusion : I think I'm gonna watch Under The Dome more as a show than as a book adaptation. I'm an awful human being. Awful.
BUT WHAT ABOUT SAM AND PIPER, SHOW? WHAT ABOUT THEM?
Also freaking Rusty Everett. Get it right show, get it right
