Timing is so weird.

So, about ten minutes after I posted that last song from Flat Tires' Freeborn album, I get a message on Facebook from Clint, the frontman of the Flat Tires. He asked me if I knew anyone that could play drums for them, because they had to let their drummer go. I happened to be talking to my good friend and bandmate, Josh, and he expressed interest in trying out. I sent a demo of Black Lung to Clint and he really liked it. I gave him Josh's number and he said, "Tell him I'm gonna call him after I take a shower." It looks like Josh is going to be trying out. Flat Tires are a nationally touring band and on a pretty damn good label. They've already put out one 7" split this year with History Repeated, have another one on the way with The Queers and are recording their new album, which is produced by Joe Queer! They have three albums out already, a split with Joe Buck Yourself, a Ramones tribute split with Antiseen, a split with The Asound and have been featured on the Drink Fight Fuck compilation. This is great for the Flat Tires, great for Black Lung and more importantly, this is great for Josh.
