For the lore sharing thing, I'm interested in Asher, Rusty and Azar!

ahhh thank u for sending n a ask!!!!

Asher Asher's UM lets him see the future! But he can only see a certain of 5 mins f he wants to see into the future more than 5 mins he cant pick how far into the future he sees. People are willing to pay to see anything in there future even f its something mundane because the chance he could see anything important is worth the price. This is why Asher accepted to come to NRC if he is able to learn magic well n use it safely outside of school he could make lots of money off his UM!

Rusty Rusty's Um is Rate Up it lets him increase the odds of something happening the higher the increase the more magic used. As a kid Rusty would use his UM to help out the families in his neighborhood like Ruggie he comes from a slum area in the Afterglow. Rusty's UM can be used for terrible things such as increasing the odds of horrible things happening to people n with enough magic can theoretically increase the odds of someone doing what he wants basically controlling them. Once realized the damage Rusty's UM could do if used wrong his peers started to worry that anytime they agreed to help/talked to Rusty he might have been using his UM on them. He was shunned n outcasted out of fear. When coming to NRC Rusty tells ppl that he has yet to develop a UM n pretends to b below average at magic.

Azar Azar like Leona was overshadowed by his older siblings. Even tho he tired to live up to his older siblings and showed he could do the exact things as them he was still overlooked. Unlike Leona tho Azar continues to push himself to beat everyone around him even if its something he isnt interested in. Which leads him to being very competitive n arrogant about the skills he has gain from trying to out beat others at there own talents. When Azar arrived at NRC he was sorted into Scarabia but after staying in the dorm for 2 months he transferred into Savanaclaw were his competitiveness and stubbornness is more welcomed n accepted.

Hello, if you're still up for the oc lore ask thing, I'd like to ask more about Rusty!

!! ofc!! ahhhhhh

He is my only oc that Overblots (at least atm sjssjsjs) The Overblot comes from Kalim finding out that Rusty does have a UM that he lied to him n was using his UM to help Kalim out with things. Which disappoints Kalim as he thought some of the things he was succeeding at was his own skills when in reality was Rusty changing the odds to favour him. Worried that Kalim will start to think he is dangerous or manipulating him like others in the past have thought Rusty Overblots.

I never drew his OB other than this one sketch but!

All his life Rustys UM has caused ppl to fear or b weary of him because they r worried he is controlling them making them do things he wants. In reality he has never used his UM to alters someones mind or choices until he OBs . Every bad accident or happening back in his home town was often blame on him its easier to have someone to point the finger at then take on the blame urself n with magic that can alter odds of events happening ppl were always suspicious of him.

Thanks for asking more about him!! Rusty has changed a lot from the first time i made him he has the most in depth backstory to him as ive spent way more time writing for him as the only one that OBs

ahhhhhhh ok!!

Asher Despite Ruggie asking him to Asher refuses to read his future. His relationship with Ruggie is something he cares a lot about n the thought that him n Ruggie might not stay together or something bad happening to one of them is something he rather avoid knowing. He always gives Ruggie a different fake reading every time, they both know each future he says for them is made up but its nice to think there future together will be happy. Like Ruggie he cares a lot about what kind job he will get or money he will make its a worrying thought for two poor hyenas.

Rusty Because his UM lets him chance the odds of things he excels at math and statistics. To get the most out of his magic n UM he has learned he doesnt need to increase the odds to 100% every time in order to change something as doing so would just use up his magic to fast. So he just figures out how much he would need to raise the probability of something just enough up that its very likely to happen n almost impossible to not. Despite having a UM that gives him control of odds he relies on luck based odds more often than not. Because of his math/statistic knowledge he is very good at finances n often tries to advise Kalim of his spending despite the other not really listening at first. 

Azar He actually doesnt have very strong magic and relies more on his muscle n intellect to beat others. While he knows Leona will win every magic fight they have he is able to easy out power Leona with sheer muscle in non magic bouts. Strategy is his best weapon and using it he doesnt have to master every skill when taking on someone but rather learn the strategy of winning in that subject. Despite being competitive to a fault he is still a feline beastmen so unless he feels the need to show someone up or is working out he is often napping or lounging around.

Asher 🐍 what relationship does your oc have with Jamil? Asher n Jamil dont really see each other a lot as they have no classes nor clubs together. Jamil does think Asher is a bit strange n loud while Asher thinks Jamil is to reserved. Jamil has often thought of asking about his future from Asher but decided against it seeing as the chance of it being different is low n even if it was different he wouldnt want someone else knowing it. Asher does often come to Kalims parties but since Jamil is working to organize things they dont cross paths there much either. Over all they r both very neutral about each other. 👑 what relationship does your oc have with Vil? When ever Vil needs sound equipment for his club or any or school event he often asks Asher to be the one to set it up since music/sound is his thing. While Vil does find him loud he also has to admit that Asher is hard working and gives his all in all the things he does. Asher isnt a fan of Vil strictness and prefers to go with the flow so they often conflict on when things need to be done n scheduling. Vil also has a dislike for Asher UM as he thinks being told your future will just make u not work hard for it. While they r neutral when it comes to feelings they both will admit things they dislike about the other.

Azar 🐍 what relationship does your oc have with Jamil? While Azar was og put into Scarabia he is a 3rd year so never was n the dorm at the same time Jamil was that doesnt stop them from having very strong opinions about each other. Jamil hates Azar’s need to compete and always be on top n finds his stubbornness to lose a headache. While Azar has easily read Jamil and doesnt like his goal of staying average in everything. There have also been fights during basketball club because of Azar showing up just outplay them n leave solely because he can. Because of there very different views they have mostly negative thoughts about one another but respect each others intelligence and cunningness.   

👑 what relationship does your oc have with Vil? They dont get along at all as both by themselves r very head strong n forward. While Vil liked Azar’s hard working mindset he dislikes everything else about him as Azar is just like Leona only with more energy to fight so the worst possible thing for Vil. Azar on the other hand doesnt like the strictness of Vil or being told what to do so he often clashes with Vil over everything. And when Azar isnt trying to one up someone he is as lazy as Leona is which just aggravates Vil more. Azar however doesnt really care for Vil and sees him more as an annoyance when he shows up more than anything.

Rusty 🐍 what relationship does your oc have with Jamil? To Jamil Rusty is like a double edge sword...On one hand he helps rein Kalim in on the other its clear Rusty is hiding stuff and lying. All of Rusty’s smiles seem fake n forced to Jamil and he doesnt trust the guy at all but Kalim seems to really like him so he has to deal with him. He does however like the fact Rusty seems to b able to talk Kalim out of big parties or settling on small get togethers instead n also keeps Kalim busy and entertain a lot thru the day. Despite this he doesnt let the two other far from his sight often. Rusty can also tell Jamil is also lying n hiding things and picked up fast the he was controlling Kalim. Rusty who also has a UM that can control ppl he finds it disgusting to use it for selfish gain however Rusty grew up poor and understands that hardships can make ppl do bad things. While he doesnt agree with what Jamil is doing he also wont b the one to stop it as whatever problem Kalim n Jamil have r between them and he doesnt deal with other affairs unless asked. n seeing as how Kalim doesnt even know he needs help he stays out of it. While they dont trust each other they r both really similar with both hiding a UM n trying to stay low in everything they do and after boths OB they get along much better with Jamil more appreciative of Rusty keeping Kalim busy most the time. Rusty was also the one left to watch the dorm while Jamil n Kalim were doing the competition with Vil

👑 what relationship does your oc have with Vil? The two of them have only every talk a couple a times and with Rusty laying low and trying to b as unnoticed as possible Vil doesnt have any strong memories of him nor a opinion on him other than he doesnt make a fuss. Rusty also doesnt have much to say about Vil other than he admires his hard work.

I hope this makes sense??? I didnt want to write to much stuff n it be hard to read so i gave small things!! Hello, if you're still up for the oc relationship ask things, I'd like to ask about the relationship of Asher, Azar and Rusty with 🐱 (Grim) 🐺 (Jack) and ⚗️ (Crewel) !

Asher 🐱 Grim finds him weird n creepy at first Grim was excited to hear a student who could read futures but after the cryptic message Asher gave him he know longer likes the idea of future readings n thinks its stupid mostly because he terrified of Asher now. Asher thinks Grim is cute and likes his excitement after using his UM to read Grims fate he thinks Grim might b a little in over his head. Grim wont tell anyone the future Asher read to him n f Asher gave him the real one or lied is something only Asher himself knows. 🐺 Jack and Asher get along very well as both r very self reliant. Jack admires Asher for his hard work n not helping Leona n Ruggie undermined the maglift tournament even f Asher was asked to by Ruggie. Jack however isnt a fan of Asher UM and thinks its pointless to know your future before hand. Asher always admires ppl who refuse his magic since it seems like there very self confident in who they are an what they will become. ⚗️ They get along decent as teacher n student Asher is very good at potions so he makes no problem for Crewel. Asher doesnt mind Crewel but isnt a fan of the good boy n sit phrases the teacher likes to say but other than that he has no reason to dislike the teacher.

Rusty 🐱 Grim adores Rusty! No only does good things seem to happen when Rusty is around he also hangs around Kalim so that means a high chance of a invite to a party n free food. Rusty finds Grim charming but finds hanging around him to often leads to overstimulation from all the excitement so he will avoids Grim sometimes f he is already having a day. 🐺 Rusty is a AWD beastmen which r sometimes called Painted wolves so him and Jack get along very well when its about beastmen culture. Jack n Rusty dont really see each other often but they do recognize each other n are always happy to talk to the other.  ⚗️ Rusty is a enigma to Crewel...He doesnt understand how even with the wrong ingredients Rusty is able to do the right potion. He knows there is def magic involved but Rusty has never shown a UM or to b very good at magic itself. He cant prove Rusty is cheating but he knows something is fishy. Rusty gets amused by Crewel being shocked at all potions he brings that should fail but works he finds it funny. 

Azar 🐱 Azar finds Grim annoying and aggravating he hates how loud he is especially when it ruins his nap. Grim isnt a fan of Azar either he thinks the other is very intimidating n scary he use to like Azar’s competitiveness until he realized he cant beat Azar in anything and then it just became frustration towards the tiger beastmen. 🐺 Jack admires Azar’s strength and how hard he works for his goal but he doesnt like his attitude nor his laziness when he isnt trying to beat someone. Azar is to much like Leona for Jack comfort and when they r together he usually cant deal with either of them as they just feed off each other emotions. Azar find Jack annoying when he is being self righteous n doesnt like the way Jack thinks u can only win thru hard work n ur own skill as just using ur muscles as ur only tool sets u back a lot when trying to win.  ⚗️ Azar is either a problem student or the best student and theres no in between. He is either trying to beat everyone around him so he makes the best potions or he is uncaring and doesnt show up n f he does he does nothing but look bored the whole time. And using the good boy/sit phrases around him is just sure to put Azar in a bad mood n make it where he doesnt do anything n class other than mess with the other students.

Sjsjsjsjsjsjsjs sorry this took so long to answer i really had to think about this cus rook is def a character that gets into the personal space of others and i never thought about this much for my ocs

Rusty

Rusty like Leona would prolly be a big target for Rook. Rusty is a AWD or Painted Wolf whichever u want to call him, which isnt like an impressive animal to hunt like a lion is. But Rook is good with his eyes and can read ppl easily so he knows there's something up with Rusty and can sense the dude has secrets so he makes Rusty one of his prime targets. Though Rusty is a hard target to hunt he is hard to find unless he is next to Kalim and seems to always get away before Rook can get close which only makes Rook more excited to find him. Rusty on the other hand at first didnt mind Rook but him always watching him when he can does make Rusty a little weirded out and thus causes him to use his UM to evade Rook a lot. He would rather avoid Rook altogether but will talk to him friendly to his face even with all the excessive questions.

Azar Tigers are stronger than lions muscle wise and the fact Azar hangs around Leona is like a 2 for 1 for Rook. He prolly treats Azar much like he does Leona as he knows to be more careful as Azar isnt to friendly and unlike Leona isnt lazy either. Azar tho will put up only with a little of Rook before turning around to snap at him which leaves Rook elated. I imagine there relationship to b that of Leona and Rook just with Azar being a bit more aggressive towards Rook when he oversteps his line

Asher

Asher wouldnt be a fun target to hunt like the others hes calm and can see moments into the future so he knows when Rook is coming which when your target can always tell when ur coming doesnt give a rush. Rook still ofc like he does with the other non humans asks him questions or talks about his non human traits Asher is fine with answering even with the more rude or abrasive questions. Asher is a more laid back kinda guy and doesnt let things get to him or nag as him so while the other beastmen are weary or apprehensive towards Rook he doesnt mind him being near him.

🐲 what relationship does your oc have with Malleus?

Ok so I won't be doing my MC with this for certain reasons.

Rusty

Their relationship is more of a mutual respect than getting along. While Rusty doesn't make enemies he does give off an aura around him that can put people off. Rusty respects Malleus as a strong mage but he’s not interested in getting close or understanding him. While Malleus has no reason to dislike Rusty or be weary of him however he can tell Rusty has very strong magic and that he’s prolly lying about not having a unique magic yet. Neither one is willing to give more info about themselves to each other but they also don’t dislike each other so they can get along if put together.

Asher

Asher, like Rusty respects Malleus as a mage however Malleus doesn’t really know he exists. Asher has a really hard time talking to people and getting along with them as he randomly gets a glimpse of the future and tends to freak people out with it. There are moments when Asher gets visions of the future and won’t realize it’s a vision and not real and others will find him standing alone talking to someone who isn’t there. Because of this Asher tends to keep away from others unless spoken to first. Since Malleus and him don’t ever cross paths too often Malleus doesn’t talk to him and Asher won’t go out of his way to make himself known to him.

Azar

Like Leona, Azar is very competitive and he doesn't like being 2nd to anyone. Azar sees Malleus as someone to beat like a stepping stone to power. While Azar won't be rude to Malleus he also won't be nice to him either. He doesn't care much for Malleus and def doesn't respect his prince title. Malleus isn't fond of Azar but since Azar hasn't been rude to him he remains neutral towards him. Basically their relationship is each other keeping face with the other to maintain respect and dignity form the other.

Asher

Asher and Ruggie are dating and they hit it off as soon as they met. Both come from a very poor background in the Afterglow and work hard for what they have. They work well together and are very independent so their relationship doesn't have many if any problems. Ruggie isn't the kind of guy who likes pda or lots of kissing and touching he also doesn't like having a partner that can't fend for themselves and needs help alot. This works out great because Asher is the same way! Ruggie doesn't mind how strange Asher can be and Asher is ok with Ruggie’s scheming ways. Ruggie oftens jokes that when Asher learns to control his unique magic they will be set in the future because people will pay lots of money to know their own future and Asher just smiles because Ruggie said their future meaning together.

Azar

The worst thing about Azar to Ruggie is that he didn't transfer to Savanclaw sooner. It’s not to say that some things Azar says and does doesn't rub Ruggie the wrong way but with Azar around Leona is a lot less demanding. They get along well and Ruggie does end up having to get Azar things as well when he’s running errands for Leona but Azar pays him as well and having two rich dudes paying you to go get them food does give Ruggie a lot more left over cash. As far as Ruggie cares, Azar is a welcome addition to the dorm. And who is Azar to have a problem with Leona’s friend even though Leona will refuse to call him that out loud.

Rusty

Ruggie is good at reading when people are hiding something and he knows Rusty is he just doesn’t know what. Rusty’s smiles seem fake and even though Rusty has been nothing but nice to the people around him Ruggie just knows there's something off about that guy. Rusty and Ruggie do get along even though the air around them gets awkward fast. Ruggie wants to get straight to the point but Rusty is ok with letting the tension just linger which ends with them not going out of there way to interact with each other even though neither dislikes the other. Rusty is friendly towards Ruggie and when Ruggie is near Rusty he seems to have really good things happen to him so who is he to complain when they are together even if Rusty gives him very weird vibes.
