Okay, now that I finally have the time, I wanna showcase one of my favorite scenes from monstrosity :)

After Rusty.... pulls a Zane (he's also voiced by Brent Miller lol (HES NOT IM SO SORRY FOR MY IGNORANCE)). The explosion is what causes the lake? Pond? Monster to deactivate its illusion/siren/pennywise lights. However, Kai looks away when Rusty explodes, not when the illusion is deactivated. This is unlike Daidan, who only locks in exactly after

But do you know the most damning part about this sequence? That literally made me feel too much? It's what Kai sees when he looks back at the surface of the water

It's Rusty's spear. The spear he forged for him. The spear he's so familiar with, the spear with each and every seam, crack, scratch, and chip he's grown accustomed to after forging it under his own hands. It's literally such a punch in the gut.
