Levante 1992, end of summer in a coastal town. Sandra, Eva and Malena, 15, all go missing after visiting a night club. The police don't seem to be looking in the right direction so Javi, Sandra's younger brother, begins an investigation of his own alongside his best friends...and the bully from their class. Together they discover that those who have his sister are not of this world. (Movistar+)

This is being dubbed as the Spanish “Stranger Things”. It’s taking place in another decade, the protagonists are teenagers, and there’s a supernatural aspect. Hopefully that’s where the similarities end. I’m excited!
