Why is my knee-jerk reaction to being tired always “Someone please drop kick me into the harbor” and not “Hm maybe I should go to bed” Why is being a responsible adult so hard

*looks at old art* how did I get objectively WORSE in the last year. *remembers that I’ve barely drawn anything in a least 6 months* .....nah, I’m sure there’s no correlation there.

I saw comments where someone was like "it's a first draft, i feel for him because who isn't mortified by their first draft." But.... that's a pretty telling first draft.
