i never saw the appeal of them, really, because derek genuinely didn’t seem to remotely care about stiles At All during the first two seasons and when teen wolf randomly pulled that “one of them dreams about each other in what the hell that dream storyline was with counting your hands” or whatever it felt sooooo random? like fan service? 

not to mention the age difference lmao like i accept them being something like (forced) found family or something, or even stiles having a certain admiration for derek, because who with two working eyes, a heart and an attraction to men wouldn’t??? but i just don’t see it from derek’s side, period. 

NOT TO MENTION that derek HAS been in an abusive imbalanced relationship before (it even was a minor/adult relationship, wasn’t it????)  so i cannot for my life imagine him ever being on board with that. if he HAD found himself suddenly attracted to stiles, the man wOULD HAVE run and hated himself even more

give me an (unpopular) opinion and i’ll tell you whether i agree

Liam doesn’t like the way this woman looks at Theo in the slightest. There’s something about it that almost reminds him of hunger, with the way her eyes roam up and down his body and the grin only grows wider by the second. He can admit he doesn’t like it because nobody should ever be looking like Thoe that way, given his past. How many people must have found glee as they watched him, finding just the right way to slip into his mind and manipulate him as they want? He has yet to find one himself, but then again, he’s never really looking for it. No, when he looks at Theo, he sees strength and change, only things to be appreciated.

Wow, who would have thought that would ever happen.

The woman’s eyes trail over to him all of a sudden and she gives out a light chuckle. “Oh, Theo, call off your dog, will you?” She says happily, not looking away as she speaks.

“Liam,” Theo hisses, in a way that sounds like it might just say what the fuck? He also looks the part, Liam realizes when he turns his head to look at him.

It’s also the moment he realizes that he’s started growling. Oh, damn.

11. Have you ever written a fic for a concept you know someone else has done before? How did it impact your writing process or feelings after posting?

I think almost everything I write has been done in one capacity or another. I’m not original like that. But I know that everyone does their own little twist to things, myself included, so I don’t think too much about that, to be honest.

12. Have you ever written a fic and decided never to publish it? Why?

Never one that I finished, I guess? There’s a few - badly-written - unfinished smut oneshots that I just... needed to get out of my system. They’ll never get to see the light of day.

23. What’s the nicest review you’ve ever gotten?

I’m delighted about every lengthy review I get ever, but one that sticks to me at all times is the one @sophiainspace left when they caught up on my groupchat AU. It’s so lovely and nice and I still don’t have the words to describe how much it means to me to hear how much people enjoy the fic for many different reasons <3

26. What aspect of your writing do you most enjoy to see praised?

The underlying things I write into the fics. Like, of course it’s good when people enjoy the dialogue and ship, and whatnot, but I really appreciate when people catch the little things - references, or maybe feelings that don’t get explicitly described but are still there. 

33. Is there any particular character whose scenes always wind up being longer/more frequent than you expected? Does the quality hold up?

When I write things from Simon Lewis’ point of view, they’re bound to get longer! He rambles a lot when I write him - both when he talks and when he thinks - so what would take only a quarter of the time in, say, Alec’s PoV, takes much longer with him. He’s fun to write and so far I haven’t heard any complaints :p 

My Thiam fics also tend to become longer than I mean to, and there it doesn’t matter who’s PoV it is, actually, funny as that is. I’m not really sure if any characters showing up ever really takes up more space than necessary....

39. Do you consider yourself to have a readership?

For my WIPs, yes. Otherwise I think people just come and go as they please. I can’t say that I have noticed someone specifically seeking out my fics (safe for you, of course, Rux <3)

there’s so much to go with! probably leave behind your heartache, cast away though. I’m really glad how it turned out! I didn’t expect the feelings to hit as badly as they do, and that’s wonderful. 

 3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year 

It makes him stop short for a second. He hadn’t even realized that home didn’t mean the Manor or Gotham in general to the boy. No, this is Dick Grayson, last of the Flying Graysons. He was born into a circus and until his parents died, it was his world. In the way that Krypton would have been his world if he’d stayed there for a little longer. They’re both foreigners, he realizes now. Both of them thrown into a society, a whole world, that’s strange to them - and possibly even more so to Dick than to Clark. He doesn’t even remember Krypton, he’s grown up on Earth, the only thing casting him out being his powers. Which he can hide. But Dick? He’s lost everything he’d ever known.

 24. favorite fic you read this year 

okay rux don’t think i’m biased bc it’s you asking this question but it’s literally Between Sinners And Saints? And, like, wow, I’m not even in that freaking fandom and don’t necessariyl care about Tony Stark but DAMN I was hurt and this is SO SUPERB. Rux, I’m still screaming
