gamma's deceit was a defense mechanism it never unlearned. caboose falls for a lot of it, but michael's better at detecting that it's fronting.

gamma goes by gary later, just like in the show haha. his voice is kinda flat and monotonous too though obviously more human.

gamma certainly throws a wrench in things, especially before they feel comfortable stating who's out or before caboose is good at telling. it's so used to its role from childhood that now, in a safe environment, it has trouble not doing the same things...

though sometimes it's also just trying to get a rise out of caboose because he takes it seriously/can't tell it's messing with him.

it'd lie about caboose's leftovers, say they went bad when it ate them. but then quickly feel guilty over it and come clean, offering to buy a replacement.

orrr like in the panel with michael, it slacked off all day and got caught in it because michael is better at picking up on those things. he's frustrated because church had agreed to cook, and gamma wasn't holding up its end of the deal.
