me watching s14 mercs trilogy, scribbling notes in a notepad, glancing up at the screen and nodding along: yes, excellent, you two are the perfect combination of stupid and cool

*tapping pen thoughtfully to my lips* yknow if they'd just checked the wallets first instead of relying on the enemy they had pinned down (you know, a guy who has every reason to lie to them) to identify which one was "Freddie" they could have improvised something convincing that wouldnt have led everyone to the storeroom door. they would also have noticed that "Freddie" was the one with the accent if they'd done that and Felix's voice would have been of a comparable timbre to mimic Freddie's voice if needed.
