I spent a good part of yesterday with two great friends. I went to high school with Mike but did not truly get to know him well until we reconnected at a high school reunion. That's when I met his wife, Lynn, and we have been good friends ever since. We never lived close enough to grab coffee or lunch together on a regular basis. Until recently, they lived in IL and we were in WI - and now, they've retired to AZ, and we've become nomads!😉 But location was never an issue. We stay in touch- phone calls, messages, visits when one couple or person was in town or area. ** Good friends-friendships- are worth the effort. Being on the road, away from so many who mean so much, has reinforced that for me! 💜💜💜 ** Stay close to those you love. Make the effort to keep connected. If you've lost touch or become distracted, this is the perfect time to reach out again. Don't let the ball drop in your court. Life is too short. ** (The picture shows the gifts they gave us. So thoughtful and special! Lynn said the cactus is so we can carry a little bit of AZ with us wherever we go, and the plaque is perfect for our motorhome!) ** #livingaGr8fullife #goodfriendsareworththeeffort #rvfulltimeliving #rvlife #drinkthedamncoffee https://www.instagram.com/p/CWBLlU6p-pA/?utm_medium=tumblr
