Btw current writing plan is finishing Guilty Gear Rotgrind au snippets and then work on the Hail Rot au snippets and then I’ll write the RWBYRot snippets :P lots to do I suppose! But it would be rude of me to not keep my promises, either way I need to write out my notes for this stuff so here we are
His appearance first and foremost since I love planning outfits! I like the high waisted skirt Penny wears but Oran does much better in shorts, of course with the overall straps off his shoulders bc you’d think he’d keep unnecessary stuff on him?? He’s a feral metal kid from the woods! And of course his signature white shirt with only one sleeve, I think in this au his right arm is just slightly more armored? Like if he was wearing a wooden gauntlet, likely used for holding birds and other such creatures without getting too scratched up. And then to top off his design! I’m keeping his digitigrade legs! Not bird like but more so smooth metal with no toes, more sleek and robotic then Penny’s more human design.
[was alerted that I forgot colors + details whoops! So here they are: suspenders + shorts- black, high waisted. Shirt- white cotton large. Imagine sort of puffy shorts with well fit waist and puffy shirt? Idk I always liked that style. AND I FORGOT HIS SCARF?? I’m a terrible writer :[ he keeps the scarf there’s no way I could take that from him! And a detail for the legs- think like deer, slim with one point like a mech leg or futuristic mechs?? Idk how to explain it but smooth no toes]
I like keeping his design simple in this bc I think it shows how little he cares for extravagance or finer things. He’s a kid who’s learning what it’s like to be alive, he probably would just want to wear anything non restrictive that took a really short time to put on!
His weapon would be a staff that like Penny’s swords can discharge high amounts of energy into lasers and stuff like that, though he can also share some of his aura to keep others safe/heal them. And I think his powers would look more like lightning or the evergreen pine scent + green glow Zoran always describes. And his staff turns into a sniper rifle because idk that’s what I’ve always associated him with when it comes to guns, his spells have RANGE.
Blasting you from forty feet away with my lightning bc you have ever so slightly pissed me off.
You guys don’t understand how fucking crazy I’m going over the parallels between Oran and Penny. IM LOSING IT. Slamming my head into the walls of my tower, MCFUCKING LOSING IT
The idea/notes so far for the RWBYrot au o7 more will be considered later while I decide further details. Already yapped with my brother about this, and will continue to do so lol
