Whole 30 Round 2: Day 4
Lunch: Salad bar from Jason’s Deli (greens, roasted peppers, boiled eggs, and balsamic vinagrette. And a few bites of apple for dessert.)
Dinner: Lemon chicken with potatoes and carrots (recipe to follow) and roasted asparagus.
Snacky things: some almonds and an Rx Bar (Chocolate and sea salt).
Exercise: 3km walk.
Observations:
I bet you’re side eyeing that Rx Bar in my snacks pretty hard. Chocolate? How did I get to have chocolate on this diet? Well check these bad boys out! That’s right! Protein bars that are compliant! And the one I’ve had tasted great! Almost like tootsie rolls but not as sweet. Another option to keep from falling off the wagon in an emergency. Can’t wait to try a few more!
The thirst is back! God I feel like I drink water all the time but it never is enough. This must be what it’s like to be a vampire. Y’know... minus the whole sunlight aversion, and need to sleep in a coffin. I’m going to make a serious effort to salt my food more than normal and see if that helps me retain water. But the difference is crazy.
