SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Panthers have reduced their training camp roster to 32 players.
Forward Rodrigo Abols, forward Jonathan Ang, goaltender Ryan Bednard, defenseman Tommy Cross , forward Joel Lowry , defenseman Jake Massie, forward Kevin Roy and forward Paul Thompson have been loaned to Florida's American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds and are expected to attend Springfield's training camp.
Forward Serron Noel has been returned to his Ontario Hockey League (OHL) club, the Oshawa Generals.
The Panthers training camp roster now stands at 17 forwards, 11 defenseman and four goaltenders.
