Resources collected in No Man’s Sky are harvested with relative ease once the player is within range. In addition to speeding up the collection process, this also encourages players to move quickly throughout any given world in the universe. This is done to emphasize exploration and upgrades over physical challenges, and thus allows the game to excel at its chosen engagements, rather than getting bogged down with other focuses of play.
