Over the past week I've seen a man who I've held to a VERY high esteem, someone I have considered an idol, someone who I've aspired to be, who at times I admit I've even crushed on, revealed for the monster he really is. Safe to say this has really fucked with me.

I've been a fan of Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter for over 7 years, and Ryan Haywood has always been a favorite of mine. I've seen pretty much everything he's been in for these years, and while this doesn't ruin those happy memories of staying up late watching the AH crew, those memories will never be the same.

on one hand I'll miss the content he starred in, but on the other I would never be able to go back and watch any of it anyways bc I can't watch anything he's in without feeling disgusted.

I've never been a fan of any major celebrities, so as they're terrible crimes are dug up and they are exposed, take bill cosby for example, it hasn't actually affected me bc I wasn't a massive fan of, again for example, the Cosby show, with years of my life invested in watching every episode. But now I feel for them. I watched every single episode of Free Play as it aired, I even cosplayed The Mad King. To be in this position now has honestly ruined me a bit.

It's time I evict Ryan Haywood from the pedastool I put him on in my head.

You're a monster who abused your power to do unspeakable things to people who idolized you just as I did.
