Painted the Glencoe Models 1:48 Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis, using @tamiyausa paints: TS-17 Gloss Aluminum (rattle can) for the metal nose, and XF-16 Flat Aluminum (airbrushed) for the rest. The Spirit of St Louis was a custom-built Ryan aircraft flown by Charles Lindbergh on May 20-21, 1927 on the first non-stop flight from New York to Paris. Lindbergh won the $25,000 Orteig Prize for the 33 1/2 hour trip.
