A Little Daytime Drama - Hallmark - 2021
An adorable movie about a soap actor who's Broadway play bombed and now he's going back to the same soap. What he doesn't know at first is the soap is in danger of being cancelled. The head writer on the show is his ex-girlfriend, played by Jen Lilley. The hunky soap actor is Ryan Pavey, so handsome it hurts to look at him. Linda Dano is the producer of the show, who was a soap actress in real life. Long time no see. Hallmark hires a lot of soap actors, Jen Lilley was Maxie on General Hospital and years later Ryan Pavey played Nathan West who married Maxie (another actress). The world of TV seems very small. I enjoyed every minute of the 2 hour long movie.
