Wire always did like the morning the most. People were scarce, the sun was low, and everything was still; peaceful. It was nice to go out and work once in a while.
So he found himself walking down the frost covered streets as he fiddled with Ethel's new phone (her old one had been shot, and therefore, rendered useless). His hands were cold (gloves made it difficult to program an untrackable and secure phone), but he tried to ignore it.
And then a woman appeared (literally popped out of nowhere) directly in front of him. He halted and blinked.
