i love the underlying lore of the bucks constantly doing things for other people and then getting nothing in return.

this instance with hangman right now. the bucks were under the impression, that the last time the bucks spoke to hangman directly, that hangman hated swerve’s guts and wanted him out of the picture. so, that’s what they did. they took that opportunity away from swerve, FOR hangman.

now, hangman’s gone a bit backwards on them. he’s upset that they did that. so, the bucks, under the assumption that they’re good with hangman, because they did that for him, went over to him on wednesday (06/11/2025) and we’re like, ‘we did that for YOU. to help you win the title.’ (paraphrased). but, hangman is upset with them for meddling, and doing what hangman once would have wanted to do himself. now the bucks are confused because that’s what they thought he wanted to happen.

because, once again, they’re having someone they care about and helped out, choosing someone else over them. someone who’s done nothing, but hurt and manipulate him.

“but the bucks have hurt him, too though”. yes, that is true. but, they never went as far as breaking into his house and destroying every ounce of sanity left in him because of such actions. they never went that far, because they were once considered family, and deep down, they’ll always have that place in their hearts for him.

so now, the bucks are gonna do what they typically do when they’re hurt by someone, they’re going to bottle it up and then later on, act out. as they did when kenny chose jericho over they’re friendship. as they did when hangman chose the dark order over them. as they did when kenny chose ibushi over them.
