3 months later...
Its been way too long since my last update, but 2014 is a new start! After 3 months of laziness I have months of picture to update about Christmas, trips to Vienna, St. Mikulas day and train rides from one side of the country to the other. I switched host families this Saturday and am now living in a flat in the city with some wonderful musicians. Posts are coming soon!

Literally that's all I've been lately. With school, student body, cheer, ugh and all the other never ending activities. Anyways, I'll live and of course there's always events to look forward to that help me through it...
BUT I'M STILL FREAKING OUT because all I have been able to think about lately is frixin rotary youth exchange!
So here's my story about that: one day (for some odd reason) I decided my family should host a foreign exchange student for nice change. After researching, I realized it is totally something I wanna do-experience a new culture, learn a new language, build friendships of a lifetime, face the hardships and grow, but most of all, find who I really am. I believe that isolating myself from my current surroundings (which I've been exposed to my entire life) will allow me to find pieces of myself I have never known. I just am yearning for that adventure, that something new. So, after further investigation, reading countless blogs and watching many, many videos, I decided Rotary was the best path to go! I found my Rotary district and local club and emailed them-longing for a reply. Sooner or later, I did hear back and found out the youth exchange program here ( here being San Diego, CA) hasn't really been utilized in many years, so they would need to do further research in order to get me enrolled in the program. AND I'M STILL IN THIS POSITION. Just waiting. And. I. Hate. It. My local club is more than ready to sponsor me and get me going but the whole district is unfamiliar with the process etc etc so yea. They just need to get their ish straight. And on top of that is is already Nov, which is very scary because I have noticed many people already have had their interviews and were accepted in Oct! oy vey I just want to get this show on the road.
and one more thing. I am still trying to convince my parents to let me go D:

But I hope all of you have a wonderful day/week/life
don't be afraid to ask questions. I like questions. And meeting new people :)
