1. How often do you cut or manicure your nails?
Hmm, I cut them...once or month a so? I've never had a manicure, though xD
2. Your top 5 ULTIMATE-CANNOT-PAIR-WITH-ANYONE-ELSE otps and their series.
What an impossible question for someone who ships so many things ;A; I'll just use whatever comes to mind first ;D
Kaworu and Shinji (Neon Genesis Evangelion): I've been crazy about them since I saw NGE 3.0 more than a month ago...I actually like the female characters, too, but I don't ship them with Shinji. I mean, come on, Kaworu and Shinji even play piano together *A*
Roy and Riza (Fullmetal Alchemist): Well, this is definitely canon, and I don't think I've seen Riza paired with anyone besides Roy. I have seen RoyxEd, but I don't really ship that. Royai all the way for me <3
Sherlock and John (BBC Sherlock): I still ship them in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, actually, but I love BBC's adaptation way more. Just so many shippable moments.
Midorima and Takao (Kuroko no Basket): There's so many characters in this series that the pairing possibilities are practically limitless xD MidoTaka will always be one of my favorite ships from it. I really like AoKise and KagaKuro too, but I'm more willing to ship those four characters with other characters, so they don't qualify for this.
Kaname and Takashi (Natsume Yuujinchou): Actually, I usually refer to them by their last names (Tanuma and Natsume). I'm not even sure why because for most series, I refer to characters by their first names xD Anyhow, these two are just so adorable...I'm okay with ShuuichixTakashi and MadaraxTakashi but I don't like SeijixTakashi D:
I have a bajillion or so other ships, but I think it'd take me years to list them all 8D
3. What are the things you fear the most?
Public speaking. I've gotten better with it over the years, but I'm still scared to death of it. I really don't like giving speeches.
Throwing up. I pretty much always try to avoid anything that might make me throw up. I avoid eating things that are slimy or that I might be allergic to, going to theme parks (I get motion sickness. Seriously, even the kiddie roller coaster made me get a huge headache), and in the future, I'll probably turn down alcohol (aside from the other health risks of alcohol. I heard it didn't taste good anyways, but maybe I'm wrong about that?). But this year I've gotten nauseous a lot more due to sleep-deprivation. I have to be careful nowadays because I vomited from stress a couple months ago :c
Nighttime after I've watched something scary. I don't have much tolerance for horror, unfortunately. Just watching videos of other people playing Slender is practically unbearable ;A; Even Supernatural scares me but I keep watching because of cute brothers in suits (and because I am waiting for Castiel to finally show up - I'm not at the 4th season yet :c ). I remember when I was in elementary school, when we were learning Human Growth and Development for the first time (that's the talk about puberty and sex and whatnot), they showed us this video about AIDS which had these people dressed up in red and white outfits to represent HIV virus and T-cells. (If I ever find the video online, I'll link to it here) For some reason the HIV virus dudes really freaked me out and I was scared of the color red for a few months. Similar thing happened after I watched The Grudge - didn't want to use bathrooms that have bathtubs at nighttime. I'm the ultimate scaredy-cat D8
Rejection/loneliness, I guess. I'm always worried that I'm being a bother to people or that they only talk to me or spend time with me out of niceness and not because they really enjoy my company. And I'm still too afraid to people about certain aspects of myself. My parents haven't been too understanding and I can't always tell which of my friends would be, so I don't risk it. It might seem weird for people who haven't met me off of the Internet because I'm more open about most things online.
4. Who are the person/s you love the most?
My parents. As much as I may fight with them a lot and occasionally even hate them, in the end I still care a lot about them. I probably need to work on expressing that to them once in a while. (I'm an only child and I don't see most of my other relatives much because they live overseas, so I wouldn't really count the rest of them as most beloved)
My close friends. That's pretty much a no-brainer too. xD Not going to list names here because I don't think most of my friends-I've-met-off-the-Internet (I feel that saying IRL/in real life is a little awkward because technically the people you talk to on the Internet are still real :p ) are even aware that I returned to Tumblr. There's also people I've gotten to know on Youtube or MyAnimelist or DeviantArt or various other sites that I really enjoy talking to, so they're among those I love now as well.
...and then there's all those fictional characters with whom I've either been in unrequited love or have been shipping with other characters since forever ;w;
5. Do you read Haikyuu!!? If yes, what do you think of it? If no, do you think you’ll read it in the future?
Not yet, I'm sorry ;A; However, after a certain contest hosted by a certain someone on Aarin it is on the top of my to-read list and I am going to take advantage of summer vacation to read as much of it as possible <3
6. Favorite side-characters that you think deserve their own series?
Hmm, this'll probably end up just being me listing a lot of supporting characters that I like, since I actually haven't really thought about what it'd be like to have them as main characters xD
Rider, otherwise known as Alexander the Great or Iskandar, was definitely my favorite character in Fate/Zero, so I wouldn't mind watching an OVA or even entire anime about him. Hopefully Waver will be there for at least part of it too, because I love the dynamic between Waver and Rider.
Izumi or the Armstrongs...or, well, pretty much anyone from FMA because I love them all <3
Hiroyuki from Hourou Musuko. The anime didn't cover most of the manga and I've only read a little bit of the manga so far, so I don't know how much is revealed about Hiroyuki and Shii's pasts later on, but I'm curious about their stories.
Yamato from Otomen because it'd be hilarious to view everything from his perspective. He basically imagines that the ideal guy is this ridiculously manly dude with lots of bishie sparkles who says "tough" things and rescues damsels in distress...it's hard to describe, more entertaining to actually see. I wish I remembered which chapters have panels showing that so I could share a picture ;w; But I really hope Yamato gets over thinking he has to be super macho and would just realize it's better to more important to be a nice person...either that or I'd like to see him use his cuteness to be a trap more often 8D
Kazuma from Summer Wars. I guess he's actually one of the main characters, so maybe he doesn't really qualify, but I adore him //w//
Kagerou from InuxBoku SS. Bet he would immediately label me as an M, even all the Shindans seem to identify me as a masochist right off the bat xD
7. If you could live in an alternate universe, what kind will it be?
I'd really like to live somewhere like Neo Venezia. Like the name implies, it greatly resembles Venice, Italy. It's just a really gorgeous town and I would love to be an Undine, singing and rowing a gondola all day *w*
I'd also enjoy attending a school like Ouran just so I can go to the host club and get BL fanservice //shot
Or perhaps a world like the one in Renai Idenshi XX. So many reverse traps <3 Would love to be able to dress like this on a daily basis.
But it'd still be good enough for me to just live in the regular world if only everyone wore suits and ties all the time //w//
8. If your life was a fanfiction, how will you tag it? Warnings?
I'd probably tag it with things like "ships everything that moves", "constantly cries about fictional people", "yaoi goggles on 100% of time", "makes bad puns", "Frenchaboo" (I don't know what the term for a weeaboo for French is. But trust me, my French accent is awful even after learning the language for several years), "attack on vegetables", "lives on DeviantArt and Pixiv", and "stalks cosplayers".
If the fanfiction included the kinds of things I imagine my OTPs or OCs doing, I think there would have to be a NSFW warning ahaha
9. A food in your country that foreigners find strange aka “Nope, not eating that".
Well, I guess technically the USA is my country and I can't really think of anything that scary food-wise here except for the serving sizes in some restaurants. Oftentimes my family of three will just buy two dishes or bring home a lot of food because we can't really eat that much D:
I'm of Chinese ethnicity, though, and I'm sure there are plenty of odd things there. I'm a picky eater, so I wouldn't try most of them myself xD I just really hope not a lot of people want to try sharkfin soup anymore - it's not gross or anything, but I've heard that some of the shark species that are hunted are endangered species. :c
10. Five special tags or nicknames for your OTPs.
Hmm, I never really tag them nor have I given them nicknames xD I usually call them KawoShin, Royai, Johnlock, MidoTaka, and TanumaxNatsume (I need a shortened version of the last one, definitely). I'll just make some up on the spot 8D
Blushing piano boys, Burning bird, British bathrobe man and blogger, Tsundere in a wagon, Youkai buddies (wow I must really like the alliteration with the letter B)
11. Which manga/anime/shows do you think should be made into crossovers?
Fullmetal Alchemist and Shingeki no Kyojin, because I just adore them both so much. They've both got strong (both physically and psychologically) female characters with very little fanservice. They're both serious-yet-humorous shows. They both have a lot of tragic deaths ;A; I bet Edward have a fit about Eren being able to regenerate his limbs. And don't get me started on the main characters' mothers... *shudders* But anyhow, it might be an interesting combination to see alchemists using 3D maneuver gear and homunculi teaming up with the titans.
Ouran High School Host Club and Otomen. They're both among my favorite manga <3 Both have heroines who would be considered tomboyish, and I bet the guys in Otomen would be very popular if they were hosts. Also, Asuka and Mori could make cakes for Honey (Hani? oh well, you get who I mean) 8D I would like to see Asuka crossdress along with the host club (if you remember that episode/chapter? ;D) and Ryo wearing a suit again *A*
Psycho Pass and Tiger and Bunny. Probably sounds a little odd considering that Psycho Pass is a lot more macabre than T&B. xD I bet Masaoka (because calling him Tomomi, his first name, feels weird D: ) and Kotetsu could give each other advice about getting along better with their children, since they'll end up following in their fathers' footsteps. And I'd just love to see the T&B characters in suits all the time <3 Might be amusing to see Psycho Pass characters as superheroes. Would Makishima take over Yuri's role or something?
Steins;Gate and Dramatical Murder (well, the second one's technically a game but I think it had a manga adaptation). The main characters both are using powers to try and fix what has happened or is going to happen, after all - one of them using time travel and the other using Scratch. Other that that, this one is really a stretch. //rolls away
