“I got lost--just passing through.”
Zey couldn’t believe he had been startled to the point of a sharp chest pain by such a small being. Her answer to his question did not convince him. Nevertheless, the child had a rather unassuming and positive energy about her that chipped away at his guarded stance in front of her.
“I see.”
His lips pressed together, and he waved a hand at her. “Carry on, then.”
You can’t let in every stray, Arligan.

Sensed the presence of another being and she knew she was not alone. The Padawan sat on her knees, preferring to meditate on the parade grounds, because it was rare that she got to enjoy the sunshine when she spent most of her time on the battlefield.
She looked over her shoulder and smiled. “It’s okay. You can come out.”
“how is it you’re never scared?”

“I am actually scared quite often,” she replied softly, light eyes looking over the younger twi'lek’s face. It would probably be a bit of a shock to hear that the ever calm, infallible Jedi could feel fear, a step on the path to the dark side.
“Anyone who doesn’t feel fear is a fool,” Hirani took the Rutian’s hands in hers, looking at them idly, “Being afraid is natural, it’s your body’s instincts telling you to be careful. I don’t let fear control me or my actions, though. That’s where the difference lies.”
Maybe it was a little ‘mystical’ and vague, but it was the truth. Certain things in her Jedi training escaped her, but understanding her emotions? She could do that.

Captain Harsh spent a surprising amount of time in the barracks waiting around for Commander Kaden to be ready to depart for the next mission. Whether the Jedi was fixing his hair or fraternizing with his Jedi friends, Harsh wasn’t sure.
He thought he heard something in the hallway, and, bored as he was, he got up and looked. Was that-- “Hey!” he snapped. “Stop!”

Xann will eat anything. Mess hall food, while sometimes bland or possessing an...interesting texture, doesn’t bother him or slow him down in the slightest.
He’ll also accept free food from just about anywhere as long as it’s not known to be poisonous to humans (which isn’t necessarily wise; don’t accept candy from strangers, jfc xann).

She had the Force and the quick reflexes to avoid falling as Numa ran headfirst into her. Numa did not.
The Jedi paused a moment, blinking at the girl who had so haphazardly run in her direction, now on the ground with scraped palms and bleeding knees, and bent down, offering a hand. The other twi’lek was taller than Hirani, yes, but younger, just looking at her face told her that. The lethan’s lekku twitched, silently calming the girl as she reached into her pack, withdrawing bacta patches for her skinned knees.
“And accidents happen,” she offered a smile, serene as Jedi were meant to be, “Here, we’ll find a place to sit and I can tend to your wounds, ka? What is your name, numa?”
