Thank you for the ask!! Gosh <3 My response is a bit long ;) There was lots to say.

E. who is your OTP? 

I am a giant, giant, multishipper. Literally, I have so many loves... But currently? Yukio/Renzou, hands down. They've really taken over my life. It gets to the point where it's hard to stop writing about them, haha. Even though I have other fics that I'm excited to concentrate on that are not focused on them, it's like the ideas about their interactions don't stop pulling at my brain. It is very distracting lol, but I can’t say I’m complaining about it.

If I had to stray away from Blue Exorcist, my second dearest fandom that was my hyperfixation for a long time, Gokudera/Tsuna from Katekyou Hitman Reborn. It's a very sweet pairing, lots of "I will devote my entire life to you" and "Please take care of yourself too, you're just as important!" and that just hhhhh, I love that stuff. Those two have a lot of fluff and angst potential. Also there's time travel shenanigan's in that universe, and time travel is like my top trope. Ah, I miss that fandom a lot.

F. canon fics or au?

Canon divergence is where is at for me. "What if's" are just so appealing to me. Probably goes hand in hand with my time travel thing lol. I used to be so into the Naruto and Harry Potter fandoms and I was like, yes please give me all the "what if's" you can think of. The possibilities were endless and I truly admire people’s creativity. This is probably also why Mephisto is one of my fav characters. Master puppeteer and King of Space & Time? Yes thank you.

L. favorite fic of yours?

Bit hard to think about it in terms of my own works. Self-reflecting is tough! haha. 

Well, Lettersverse is definitely my blood sweat and tears, and I just have so much fun writing with Jay. We vibe so well together so the results that come out of it really impress me. I’m probably a little repetitive when I say this, but some of the upcoming chapters.... boy, when we finally post them I’ll probably scream about them here because they came out so good, I’m still pretty awed by it.

But aside from that.. Hmm, I'm pretty proud of Chasing The Remnants It's one of the few multichaptered fics that I not only completed, but also wrote by myself, and was also very satisfied with how it came out. It was well received too which of course makes me happy. There are some parts I could have probably done better, but there’s so many scenes I was satisfied with. Most of all, I'm glad I was able to contribute to the One Piece fandom with adding one more "but what if the brothers all meet before one of them dies and we have some happy angst for once". (oh my god though picking the title for this fic was hell, and I’m still like ‘eh’ on it but it be like that sometimes. summaries and titles are not my strength lol)

As for fics by other people, god its impossible to pick one, and also really hard to even limit this to five, but I did my best lol.

The End of Infinity - Avengers

It's such a huge work, it is an amazing fix-it fic for the Avengers. I'm actually a big behind on reading it since I've been so focused on Blue Exorcist lately, but I'm looking forward to catching up to it. It has... time travel....!!! And the characterization is perfect... Slow burn pairing too...! What more can I ask for?!

I Wanna Be Your Knight - Blue Exorcist

This is a Rin/Ryuuji and Renzou/Ryuuji fic that is just *so good*. The characterization is so amazing it hits all the key points on why I love everything about these pairings and these characters. Definitely a huge rec from me to anyone in the fandom. 

Dirty Sympathy - Ace Attorney

A huge epic for the Ace Attorney fandom, and it's such a huge canon divergence that was so well done. I read it a long time ago and I've been wanting to reread it, but it's never left my mind and I don't think it ever will. While it's incomplete in AO3, it did actually finish in livejournal. I hope the author finishes posting it on AO3 one of these days.

something else to pretend - My Hero Academia

This is a recent love and it's short. It deals with Izuku and Bakugo's difficult past and about self-esteem and forgiveness and it was really carefully handled. I love so much about it. I reflects my feelings a lot on how I feel that relationship should be handled in canon, so I’m happy that even if it doesn’t happen that way, I can at least always come back to this fic.

I follow your smoldering footsteps in search of a place to rest - Blue Exorcist

 ;) You definitely make it to my top list. I have to confess, when you updated chapter two, I had people over at my house for dinner and I... without any regrets... said, "sorry, this fic I've been waiting to read updated, please just chat w my husband bc all my attention is gonna be here and I just can't interact right now" lmao. I think about your fic a lot..... and I've been peeking at your other works and I'm so eager to devote the time to them that they so dearly deserve. The way you write is so entrancing and your characterizations are so masterful... There’s so much emotion in smoldering footsteps, and I think you write Rin and Yukio’s brotherly relationship / dynamic so well, especially so since they haven’t actually like really seen each other yet, but that relationship is ever present. They’re important to each other more than anything else and the way you weave that all in together, the grief, the yearning, their determination... their introspection.... Godddd, it’s all very impactful. Been waiting for a decent weekend to focus on your other fics like you have no idea, just some me time with no interruptions so I can get as immersed as I know I will be <3 You'll be hearing from me veeery soon!!

If you could have art for one scene from one of your fics what would it be?

OMG. Gosh... there’s so many scenes that it’s hard to pick just one! There’s two specific ones that I am dying in anticipation to publish from the Sincerely side (upcoming chapter 54 and 55) which to me basically define their relationship so well in those two scenes... 

From currently published content though? Hands down, the Yukio/Renzou kiss under the stars. It made me so happy that they finally kissed...! The amount of times I have reread the scene out of pure self satisfaction is too many to count, haha.

Yukio grabbed Renzou’s shirt, clenching it tight in his fist as he leaned forward. The hesitation had flown out the window. Restraint didn’t exist. In just a couple seconds, from when their hands touched, Yukio pulled Renzou close enough for their lips to touch.

His first kiss. Their first kiss.

It felt like electricity, fire, and thunder all at once bursting in his chest in a way that felt so satisfying. This was it. This was what he wanted. What he needed.

Their mouths melded together, pressing closer until neither of them could properly breathe. It was a sensation unlike any other. The rising tension that had been humming beneath their skin now quivered with delight.

Renzou’s knees went weak and his hovering hands settled on Yukio naturally once his brain jump started again, one going to the nape of his neck, the other resting on his cheek. His thumb brushed across the tiny pair of moles under Yukio’s eye as his own slid shut.

I love them ok. It took them so long to get here!!!!  The denial, pining, the flirting and hush hush ness of their newfound relationship... all of it finally built up to this moment and it left a huge smile on my face. <3

U, V, Z (You've been reblogging a lot of Sabo lately!)

U - 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms

SABO from One Piece <3 He’s really my bae. I feel like in a recent prompt I did, I might have picked Zoro over him, and honestly, it is a tough choice between the two but what am I saying? I dedicated an entire fic to Sabo. I love my son. I love this rebel who hates his horrible family and how horrible society is and he wants to bring justice to the world <3 He has such a big heart for those he cares about, and such a deep, savage rage inside for those that have wronged him or the world.

Kaito Kid from DCMK - listen, I just love phantom thieves, that’s my jam, give me magicians, give me me thieves, combine them, even better, I just-how can I not be charmed????

Neal from White Collar - on that same note, give me charming conmen characters. I have a type and I am not ashamed to admit it.This man is not only suave and attractive, he is smart, he is crafty. He is free to seduce me any day of the week. (But also Peter. But also Elizabeth. The trio are just the best OT3 of life god damn, I adore them).

Zelos from Tales of Symphonia - Flirty Redhead? (I love redheads). Even better, ANGSTY CHARACTER BACKGROUND? HIDDEN BEHIND A CHARMING SMILE? Yes, please and thanks.

Alvin from Tales of Xillia - also an excellent character with mixed motivations and I just hhhhhhhh over these type of characters clearly. Another great chacter for another great OT3 (Alvin/Jude/Milla)

There’s a very good reason I like Shima Renzou if you combine all the above lmao.

V - 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms

Well, I won’t go into the obvious ones for obvious reasons (Lettersverse does a good job spelling out which are my favs...) So instead, I’ll talk about:

Heiji/Shinichi (DCMK) - Gods, detective nerds? Being detective nerds TOGETHER? Please and thanks! I bemoan that the more popular pairing is Shinichi/Kaito, even though I do love them dearly, but I’ve always been more the type to like prefer friendship-based relationships rather than rival-based relationships

LUFFY/ZORO (One Piece) IS MY JAM. The devotion, the wordless understanding--they share the same brain cell and I just. I love that??? the TRUST. absolutely slays me in the best way possible.

Midoriya Izuku/ Torodoki Shouto (BNHA) - they’re just so sweet together and I love them being devoted to each other. Izuko is the light Shouto needed, and Shoutou will easily become the support Izuku needs... 

Bonus pair because these pairings defined my life for a long time: D18 and 5927 from KHR. Enough said about that.

Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go (prompts optional but encouraged)

Okay, let me talk about Sabo. Hell, let me talk about Sabo, Ace, and Luffy, my dear children. Their brotherhood gives me life. Nothing matters to me more than their happiness. Simultaneously, their suffering feeds me and kills me. Listen, okay, I love them enough to write a whole 10+ chapter fic about them, and I still want to devote some time in that universe with a sequel, and I still have a ton more ideas revolving new canon-divergent AUs about them because I will never accept Ace’s death. 

I will also never get tired of reading about their potential reunions, so for the love of god, I beg this fandom to never stop writing about them, PLEASE. I just need them to be happy together. But also, give me all the fics where Ace spends years crying about Sabo internally and not talking to anyone about it :) Give me fics about Luffy having nightmares about Sabo and Ace being dead and feeling so alone, and remembering Jimbe’s reminder that he still has his nakama. Give me Sabo dwelling in self-loathing because he forgot his brothers for ten years and one of them is now dead and the guilt is crushing him. :))))))))))))

E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what

I WISH. I'm not super great with comedy in my opinion, though sometimes I strike gold when I'm in the middle of writing a scene, but it's nothing conscious on my part lmao. I envy those who are good at coming up with memes (looking straight at you @ssdontgetmurdered) 

I guess, in terms of lettersverse, my favorite ongoing joke is that Renzou really wants Rin and Ryuuji to get together already ‘cause it is so annoying how much they dance around the subject, but all his jokes on the matter fly over their oblivious heads. His frustration amuses me, so I hope I'm not the only one getting enjoyment over that interaction, haha.

M - Say something genuinely nice about a ship that you don’t ship (or its shippers, or anything related to you)

R - A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships

My answer to both of these is actually about the same, so I'm just gonna merge them together, hope you don't mind!

Honestly, I can't think of a lot of ships I don't ship. I'm a giant multishipper. Give me Rin/Renzou, Renzou/Ryuuji, Rin/Konekomaru, Rin/Godaiin... Hell, Amaimon/Shiemi and Konekomaru/Shiemi is cute too. I feel like those last two are super underrated, not that I mind because Izumo/Shiemi is hella good, but so is Izumo/Paku. Or Izumo/Shiemi/Paku!!!

See... they're just...too good. Let all my children be poly.

I guess if there's a ship I don't dwell in often it's something like Renzou/Izumo and Ryuuji/Izumo? (If I had to pick a boy to be with Izumo, my preference would be Rin. What can I say, he’s just too good husband material). But like I'm sure they can be cute, they just need to be written correctly. My favorite thing about Kato is that all her characters are so well written and have great chemistry. I've really enjoyed the build up she's done between Shiemi/Rin, even though some of it was awkward, haha. My preference is still Shiemi/Yukio if I had to pick between the two brothers, but it makes more sense of her to end up with Rin given the growth they've both done and how they've helped each other.

I'll be happy to talk more in depth about any particular ship if anyone is interested in my thoughts or headcanons lol.

Mmm wonderfully long weekend, the start of the Kyoto arc in Lettersverse in one more day, and writing a Renzou/Yukio/Yamantaka fic w Jay. Life is good, no complaints.

the fun part of translation is always learning these super random tidbits. Today I stumbled into this website which introduced to me the concept of botamochi, why it can also be called ohagi in the fall, and more importantly, why in winter, this is called kitamado. Glad I wasn’t going crazy when it just didn’t make sense to translate northern window in this sentence instead lmao.

for the asks, angel, sweet pea, my love!

angel - what’s one character trait you like about yourself?

Toughhhhh. I feel like I’m constantly working to improve on various aspects of myself lol. 

I guess I like that I’m pretty easy going and tend to go with the flow. Nothing really startles me or bothers me easily, though when I do get bothered (typically only triggered by people who know me really well) my temper is not the best lol. Comes as quickly as it goes though, which is personally refreshing. I would hate to dwell on things for longer than I need to, so intrusive thoughts aside, I’m happy that I tend to let go of most things pretty easily.

sweet pea - what’s your favorite flower?

Gladiolus flower! It took me many years to settle on a favorite, they're all lovely, but this one shares the same meaning as my name, so it makes me like it even more. Been wanting to get it tattooed too.

my love - what would your dream home be like?

I wonder... my place is small but I really like it. If it was any bigger, there would be more to clean up, haha. My main two complaints is 1) I don’t have enough storage space, but at the same time, this forces me not to hoard too much 2) my upstairs neighbors are sooooo noisy lmao. Drives me nuts. Oh, and I totally want to remodel my bathroom to have a bigger bathtub. I guess it’s not quite up to dream standards after all lol.

Overall, my top must-haves for my dream home are:

Bathroom with a big bathtub!! And shower comfortable enough for two people to share.

Kitchen with enough counter space to share with two-three people. Vital for baking!! Also plenty of storage space in the kitchen so I can put away all my gadgets (bread maker, instant pot, etc.)

Yard that doesn’t require a lot of maintenance (no grass, mostly tile, and flowers around the edges of the fence)

A mini herb garden for my kitchen window sill

No one living upstairs so I don’t have to put up with their noise lol

A pool within walking distance 

Enough rooms so I can have 1) a VR room, 2) a home gym, 3) an office/library, 4) a guest room

Nice decorations. I do not have the eye for that, so that is a big struggle. I want that Aesthetic. (any. any aesthetic. i got nothing going for me currently lmao)
