I was excited to try this @ryor_cosmetics Chameleon Colour Adapting ph Lip Balm from @ourhappybox which I received as a trial offer from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my review! The first thing I remembered when wanting to try this, was the Mood changing Lip Balms & Lipsticks from the 70s/80s that I had as a teen! 🌈 There are several brands that have recently popped up with this same idea; and I’m all about it, when it comes to feeling nostalgic! 🌈 Packaging: The Ryor Chameleon Colour Adapting ph Lip Balm Box is Super Cute & has a pretty floral design all over it, as well as a cute little purple chameleon on the front of the box. I like how it says; “Decorative Care”, because it’s definitely decorative! The tube inside the pretty box is a shiny purple & silver plastic lip balm, also with the little chameleon on it. Since the lid is clear, you can already see a pink tint from where the lip color comes out of. 🌈 What it does: This color adapting lip balm is supposed to change according to your own ph level once applied to the lips. It is said to enhance the Lip natural color. It contains Vitamin E, Squalane, and Macademia Oil to help with hydration. I’m all about hydrated and moisturized lips 👄 especially when it’s dry & cold out! 🌈 My thoughts: I took some before & after photos to see the differences in how the slight color adaption happens. I know everyone’s color will probably be slightly different, and based off of skin tone. I’m somewhat on the fair to medium skin tone side, and I really like how the color changed on my lips. I’d say I noticed a change after about 30 seconds to a minute. I also noticed a bit more “pinkish” color after 10 minutes later. The feeling is more like a nice, non-sticky Gloss when it goes on. It glides on smooth, and lasts about several hours, as far as the color. I didn’t really notice any scent, which I think I remember with the mood Lipsticks as a teen. I’d give this a 5/5 rating.
