Your memory has made me cry! - Kintaros/Ryoutaro

Kintaros almost immediately realized it was a bad idea to visit Sector 1. He had been scoping out new sectors, trying to get used to the lay of the land. He’d met a few interesting people along the way, but he definitely wasn’t out there about it. Kintaros tried to take as many back ways as he could through sectors, trying to keep out of the way of people as to refrain from accidentally hurting anyone. Kintaros was a big guy and needed his space, after all. He had only been in Sector 1 for a short amount of time, and before he could even react, buildings began to shift.
Kintaros tried not to worry as he saw all of the routes he had taken get switched up, buildings now blocking his path. Kintaros let out a big huff, shoulders dropping slightly. Things were tough without DenLiner, that’s for sure. He took a walk a bit farther down the path he was on, noticing apartments around him now. He envied those who got to live above ground. District Epsilon was... interesting, for sure. Lot’s of old books and junk. It was a shame Kintaros didn’t read all too much. Luckily his living quarters was good enough for sleeping, and sleep he did. In fact, he probably could go for a quick nap right now.
Kintaros walked over to a bench nearby, plopping down onto it, and near breaking it straight in half. He fell to the floor, busting his ass in the process. Kintaros looked up from the rubble of his half of the bench, rubbing the back of his head. “A little too quick with the descent...”, Kintaros observed his own actions, but then froze when he saw the figure across the street that was staring him down. It was him, his own host and one of his best friends. Ryoutaro! Although he seemed scared, maybe confused? That came across as strange to Kintaros, but it didn’t matter at that point! Kintaros jumped up from the broken bench and shouted out to the boy across the street.
“Ryoutaro! Ryoutaro thank goodness you’re here! You’re safe too! I’m so glad!”, Kintaros shouted as he ran up to Ryoutaro, giving him the tightest hug he could and lifting him straight off the ground. “It’s so good to see you, my friend!”, Kintaros said, a very positive ring to his voice. He swung Ryoutaro around one quick time and set him down on the ground. He was met with a very confused face, and wondered what could be the cause of his confusion.
