Crowds make me cry! - Kintaros/Lucy
Perhaps Lucy was imagining things, or had the bench moved the moment someone sat down next to her? She’d been mostly reading a book, trying to pass time before going into work, when the unmistakable presence of a figure next to her interrupted a rather interesting chapter about the history of the Hive. Likely all made up, as she doubted this place would allow for proper published works on it, but none the less interesting. Maybe if she just ignored the person next to her she’d be able to keep reading.
Maybe if she tried - oh no, she was being spoken to. With a rather dramatic sigh and snap shut of her book, Lucy turned to address the figure - only to have her eyes go wide at the sight of him.
“You… you!!” The words couldn’t even really come out of her mouth. She hadn’t been in Hive City very long and therefore couldn’t say she’d seen many things, but perhaps this was the first time she’d stumbled across someone so very clearly non-human. “What are you? Who are you?” Any questions he might have been asking of her were now completely ignored.
Oh boy. Kintaros was slightly prepared for this. It was a new concept for him, having to see people react to his true body. Back home, he could just stay on Denliner all day and no one would ever question a thing. Not here, though. He was definitely on the stranger end of the spectrum, so he couldn’t blame the girl for asking questions. Instead, he happily gave her the answers she awaited.
“My name’s Kintaros. I’m an Imagin! We’re a race of time travelling creatures with the ability to possess others. When I possess one, I grant them immense strength!”, Kintaros explained, stroking his own strength for a moment while he was at it. Now that he thought about it... He hadn’t tried to possess anyone since he arrived. Was he even able to still possess people? Maybe he could convince this girl to let him try it on her. “Who are you, if I may ask?”, Kintaros questioned back. It was only fair, though. He did answer her questions. He’d play it as nice as possible so he could get on her good side and attempt a possession.
