Fun Overwatch Story

The other day we end up in a game and me and my group of 5 friends realize the enemy team is not really fighting and trying to be friendly so we all kinda stop. Then one of our friends gets a party invite from the enemy team and they go over and turns out this group is achievement hunting. The deal was we’d do some for them and they’d do some for us and we’d be good. We did a few but someone got off the payload so the match ended. Sadness.
So me and the squad decided to try this with other teams cause the last friendly team says they’d been doing that all day with some success. So we end up on attack on Eichenwald and try and befriend the team and send one of the players a party invite. Dudebro enters chat and we explain the deal so he’s all “Welllll gotta ask Da boyz.” and bails. So we wait, the timer is going. A little bit later the dudebro comes back, “Got some bad news. The boyz just ain’t feelin it.”
At this point his team thinks they are hot shit spawn camping us when we aren’t even fighting so our spokesperson is all, “Okay no worries. But we are going to actually try now.” The dudebro leaves and with 1:30 to spare on the time we switch to mains and leave spawn and proceed to fucking wreck them. They character swapped so much, the Genji who thought he was so cool killing me while I was standing still is now panicking as he tries to chase me. It was overall hilarious. We win and they immediately leave.
I’m sure there is a lesson in there somewhere about accepting kindness but fuck it, that’s still the funniest thing that happened all weekend.
